Discussion. Are conservative agnostics not welcome here? In the short time I've been here I've seen a number of posts from conservative atheists and agnostics.

I don 't see the hand of God in anything, myself. To each their own.

It is necessary to WANT to see God to to see the hand God. To each their own, but one day EVERY knee will bow to the name of JESUS. GOD is waiting for you to ask to see Himbefore it is TOO LATE.

For God so loved the world the He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16

The hand of God needs to give some a good slap in the butt even if it isn’t the end of the world yet.

****************

(1) Some are too dull too notice...
--OR--
(2) ..(a)They know the truth, (b)don't care, and (c)remain hostile to God (Romans 1:18ff refers)

Perhaps America received such a slap (...as you mentioned)
More than once...
9/11/2001 comes to mind...

Enjoy your day

Muslims are raising themselves up with the support of the deceived and by the avoidance of addressing it’s infiltration into America by others. Amazing how much some do for evil, and how little some do for good.

Since God created heaven and earth, he has complete control over it.

If I write a computer program, I have complete control over it’s design, it is up to me how it will work. A good programmer knows before the program runs which instructions will execute and when.

If I design and build a house, I determine where the rooms and stairs are and what materials are used.

Sounds very simple, but perhaps worth contemplating for some folks.

We certainly can imagine very well - since he was hell bent to make such a comment on this thread!

Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

Rom 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Rom 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Rom 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Rom 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Rom 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

It is necessary to WANT to see God to to see the hand God.

If we are to assume, for purposes of this discussion, that such a being (God) actually exists, then I do honestly want to see God.

...but I don't see such a thing. Now what?

I know what you mean. These things are my mind alot lately. I just finished reading The Harbinger. I don’t really recommend it as literature but then again it was written as literature. It’s well worth a read and some thought.

People chose Obama - and it shows the level of depravity in America. Obama is not God’s vehicle for anything! But man showing what they are and where they are coming from. Nothing good comes out of evil, yet, man is hell bent to chose it.

I wasn't raised in a religious household and have had to figure things out as I go. However, as I learn more, the more I see and the more I see, the more I learn.

The book "The Harbinger" was extremely helpful for my perspective and with my contemporary understanding about how things work and how things are now and why.

"Interesting times" barely describes the here and now. It's scary fascinating how well propaganda works and how blindly trusting we American humans are in the world our parents built for us and in those who run it for us, instead of He who created the world and the actual rules it runs by.

We are soon to get another big lesson, since we refuse to pay attention to the small lessons we receive daily.

All according to the Plan...

It's Jim's forum. He and his admin mods determine whether someone is allowed to stay or not. They are forgiving.

But when a noob is attracted to a thread that obviously reflects the participants’ faith and posts an antagonistic comment, it's a ‘tell’ that sometimes leads to a zot.

If you're here to add value, welcome. If you're here to disrupt, or sew dissent ion beware the viking kitties.

Discussion.

I have NOTHING to discuss with any godless creature! This is a GOD first forum.

I have no doubt that God is at work in our world. I know that He wins in the end. But I also believe that He allows people to make their choices, and lets them live with the consequences of those choices. Some deny this, saying that everything that happens God willed, and so everything that happens is really good after-all. I believe they are wrong. Our world is in chaos now, and filled with great evil. They make God responsible for the evil, as if a holy God wanted them to make those evil, sinful choices. I never say, as so many do that “God is in control”, but instead that “God is in ultimate control”. His ultimate purposes will not be thwarted. I saw a quote recently that I like: "Everything will be okay in the end. If it isn't okay, it isn't the end."

I don't know your denomination.
But in general "the isles" are where we came from.
If I told you, chances are you wouldn't believe me.
The Bible refers to countries as "houses" of "named individual".
In short, and if you will hear it, "the isles" are Great Britain, referred to as Ephraim and Manasseh.
Notice what happened in Genesis 48, and pay very close attention to verse 16. Remember the war between Israel and the Jews?
So the nation of Israel is NOT the HOUSE of ISRAEL.
