I had an Endfield MK III. I fired some WWI era ammo and the primers melted to the bolt.
They have changed the narrative, instead of “Gun Control” now they call it “Gun Safety” or “Gun Reform” which makes it sound all cute and cuddly but in reality what they want to do is repeal the 2nd Amendment, like Adolf Hitler said, easier to kill folks who are unarmed
A 66 yr old woman here in SoCal was stabbed to death in the parking lot of a mall in Rolling Hills Estates(Nice rich neighborhood) I didnt hear anyone call for knife control..because when you mention that people laugh “Oh you can’t ban knives” but knives kill people, in some school in China some whacko killed 9 classmates with a knife..didnt even hear it mentioned in the Commie media, doesn’t fit the narrative that ONE knife can kill so many people at once

Ah, no. The anti-gun forces have been out to make all handguns TOTALLY ILLEGAL since 1962-1988. They always promised that if gun owners would give up their handguns, they could keep their rifles, and long guns would not be affected by registrations and bans.
Then in 1988 they suddenly realized the semi-auto rifle was a better target with a better chance of banning them. If they do, then they will build on that to go after handguns.

Yup, that’s what “common sense” terrorists do.
Ever notice that when Clinton banned A-s-s-ault rifles in 1994 that the gun control organizations cheered, but did not shut off the lights and go home. They simply went to the next step of what was to be banned next.
Murder by knives or crs also complicate things.
When we were kids, we had guns and any self respecting kid had a buck knife on his belt in school.
