I have done the low carb. A lot of work. Reading labels and cooking for low carb is hard. I also felt deprived. No sweets. Never any bread or potatoes. I have been doing the one meal a day and am losing weight. It’s easier for me. Because I can eat what I want. I even have an ice cream cone after dinner. If I get really hungry during the day I’ll have 3 baby carrots. The 1 meal a day is much easier to me.
Good luck!

If you did low-carb and felt deprived, you cut out the fats too. You need the fats to feel satiated. You can have low-carb desserts, and smother them with whipped cream. Or, choose the fattiest cut of meat, and don't trim them. Eat vegetables dipped in Cream cheese, or bacon bacon bacon, fried in a pan. Blueberry muffins made with coconut four.

My daughter did it back in her teens, lost 40+ pounds, and never put it back on.

Low carb - no fat diets do not work. I saw a study on that a couple years ago.
