Definitely my FAVORITE air fried (or any kind of home cooked) meal!
I need a bailout to afford chicken wings!
PING!
Beyond unbelievable - American have incredible knack for coming up with even more junk food.
Check my video. I mentioned the local deal I got on chicken wings. Right now I am getting a pack of 10 wings for between $6.50 and $8 so as long as this deal lasts I will be cooking this item up. When the deal ends, then I switch to chicken breast tenders using the same recipe.
I no longer buy chicken wings due to price point increase.
Instead I buy larger and meatier chicken drumsticks, still reasonable and often on sale. More meat per piece and family likes them as well or more. I pull the sin off before cooking, usually oven frying after coating and seasoning. serve with favorite sauces.
Check Aldis ads when they are on sale. Wings used to be cheap, now not so much.
They are just $1.99/lb at a local place here in South Florida. So if you are not in South Florida, don't ask me where and if you are, private mail only. I don't want to start a run on those chicken wings and lose out. Something like that happened years ago when I found a deal for super cheap Swordfish steaks. I let a few people know and suddenly all those Swordfish steaks were... GONE!
I do not have an air fryer - would regular oven baking work? The ingredients are VERY appealing to my taste buds & I suspect they would be a major hit with the family.
What I DO have is 3 pounds of free chicken wings once a month as part of a Butcher Box subscription I was given as a gift :-)
Bump for later
Since when is Fried Chicken, done anyway, a junk food.
Now Fried Twinkies, that's a junk food.
Have you tried the recipe with drumsticks?

If your oven has a convection bake feature, that works too. You need to buy an air fry basket to put the food in.

No. So get an air fryer which should be in everyone's kitchen. Best to keep an eye out for the sales. Last Fall I saw the 8 qt Bella air fryer on sale at Best Buy for just $53 so I bought not one, not two, but THREE of those air fryers. One for me and two others that I used for Christmas gifts.
Actually they were on sale for $49.99 and the rest was tax bringing them to $53 each.
Wings I can get. Now about those cheap swordfish steaks . . .
looks good, i keep looking for air fry recipes.
thanks
What about a regular convection oven?
