More pressing: Exactly where does the bite have to occur?

In addition to intense pain and possible medical complications, the bite of a Brazilian wandering spider can deliver a long, painful erection to human males, Live Science previously reported. The venom boosts nitric oxide, a chemical that increases blood flow. Several studies have looked at incorporating the venom into drugs for erectile dysfunction.

However, these bites are rare, and envenomations, or exposure to these toxins from a spider bite, are usually mild, Vetter said. He cited a Brazilian study, published in the journal Revista do Instituto de Medicina Tropical de São Paulo in 2000, that revealed that only 2.3% of people with bites who came to a Brazilian hospital over a 13-year period were treated with antivenom. (The other bites did not contain enough venom to require it.) Most of the bites were from the species P. nigriventer and P. keyserlingi in eastern coastal Brazil.

Reads like a disclaimer you hear on the pharmaceutical ads on TV.

“Well, you have to admit, it explains all the kangaroos in Austria.”

I’m almost hesitant to ask what you are referring to. Kangaroos???

Give the spiders Happy Fun Balls.

They will cancel each other out.

Or destroy the world as we know it.

So where were the spiders
While the fly tried to break our balls?
Just the beer light to guide us
So we bitched about his fans
And should we crush his sweet hands?
Oh yeah

I’m riffing on the Austria/Australia thing. Anyway, there have to be kangaroos somewhere in Vienna...

No problemo. Your post was a lot kinder than I would have expected after my blunder.
