Another hit of the night was Cecile Richards, tall, blond and handsome, now moved to Manhattan to oversee Planned Parenthood. We had a reunion as we are pals via her famous mother, former Texas Gov. Ann Richards. Cecile and her wonderful family are going to be a great addition to New York.

I have no freaking idea how I got on their mailing list,but I got a beggin'-for-bucks letter from Planned Parenthood last week. They told the terrifyingy "story" of a woman who went to the pharmacy for birth control, and the pharmacist would not fill her prescrition because of his religious beliefs. Yes, folks, THIS COULD HAPPEN TO YOU! You too might be subjected to the horror of having to go ot another pharmacy to get your birth control pills because the pharmacist at the first one won't compromise his immortal soul. Oh, the humanity!

All kidding aside, is this the best they can come up with to scare the bucks outta women? How pitiful for them - but what a gift to us.

PS - I sealed up the Business Reply enevlope and sent it back with nothing in it. Yes, I know it's petty but TEE HEE HEE...

Neither can the media. According to all their polls and editorials, Richards was slated to win by a landslide back in 1993. The problem was that they didn't know anyone who liked Bush and they didn't realize how strongly most Texans disliked Richards. She was a phony and we threw her out of office.
