MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- Presbyterian leaders want the U.S. to end aid to Israel unless the country stops settlement expansions in disputed Palestinian territories.
Delegates of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) voted Friday to support the call during the church's general assembly in Minneapolis. The measure passed with 82 percent of the vote. ...

They also voted to allow gay clergy. Clergy who in active gay relationships. Also on the agenda is to not require clergy to observe chastity and change the definition of marriage. marriage will be defined as two people and not a man and a woman.
PCUSA is not to be confused with PCA (Presbyterian Church of America). PCA is not into all this liberal garbage.
Why are these Presbyterian leaders so adamantly against Israel settling their own historical territory? Why the emotional investment?
Replacement theology types, like Jimmah Cahtuh.
I go to a Presbyterian church, and this decision in no way reflects my personal views.
Probably because they aren’t building any “gay” only housing ...
Then why do you yet go?
Another plank men as Elders and Deacons, the women love it because the roles are well defined and the Women in the Church movement amoung us is thriving because of it.
How Christian of them.

Replacement theology is the natural extension of Hyper-Calvinism.
Calvins Clear Opinion from his writings in A Response To Questions and Objections of a Certain Jew - An Excerpt from Ad Quaelstiones et Objecta Juaei Cuiusdam Responsio, by John Calvin; The Jew in Christian Theology, Gerhard Falk, McFarland and Company, Inc., Jefferson, NC and London, 1931.
Their [the Jews] rotten and unbending stiffneckedness deserves that they be oppressed unendingly and without measure or end and that they die in their misery without the pity of anyone.

If there is a denomination more Calvinistic than Presbyterians, I don’t know of one. PCA vs PCUSA hold this in common, what’s different is their politics.

What taste! What humor! 5 thumbs up (well, i don’t have 5 thumbs, but if I did, they would all be pointed up!)
That being said, they look like they are trying to dive into the same septic tank that the ELCA occupies.
Its not an emotional investment ... its a theological one.
No offense but just maybe ya should have stood up and protested.
Made your voice heard.
It is YOUR church.
Ya just gonna set back and watch your church go the way of the Episco?
Ok then, what exactly is their theological investment against the Israel settling her own territory?
Note - I put the arrow brackets and sarc after the “Let the Jew hating begin.” For sarcasm. FR works with these brackeets () but the arrow ones next to the letter M do not show up. It was sarcasm. I know plenty of conservative Jews with loathe you know who. Many are gun onwers too.
I used to do volunteer work for what I later learned was the liberal group, and I stopped doing that work (on their computers).
