Does the Bible Predict a Coming Polar Shift? [Isaiah 24]

While we now appear to be in a period of declining magnetic field strength, we cannot state for certain if or when a magnetic reversal will occur. Based on measurements of the Earth's magnetic field taken since about 1850 some paleomagnetists estimate that the dipole moment will decay in about 1,300 years. [...] Even if Earth's magnetic field is beginning a reversal, it would still take several thousand years to complete a reversal. We expect Earth would still have a magnetic field during a reversal, but it would be weaker than normal with multiple magnetic poles. Radio communication would deteriorate, navigation by magnetic compass would be difficult and migratory animals might have problems.

The Bible prophet Isaiah, under the influence of God, seems to have predicted that in the last days there would be a catastrophic polar shift; a geologic rapid shift in the relative position of the modern-day geographic locations of the poles and the axis of rotation of the Earth, creating calamities such as floods and tectonic events. The timing of this event? No one knows, regardless of how many books they try to sell. The purpose of this event? To judge the world because of legislated evil; abortion, baby part harvesting, homosexuality, pedophilia, no fault divorces, genocide, fatherless children, etc. It appears that there is no place to hide when this event occurs except in the one who brings this event to pass; the God of Israel, mighty to save all those who trust in Him and receive his substitutionary death for their sins (Daniel 9, Isaiah 53)

Edgar Cayce was indeed a prophet, but he is what the Bible calls a “false prophet”. The Biblical standard for prophesy is 100% correct or they are not “from God”. Deuteronomy 13 and 18 make this clear. The Bible prophets on the other hand, were 100% accurate. That is why I can proclaim some of the things I do with confidence. While Cayce made prophetic announcement that may have come to pass, because he was not 100% accurate, the Bible says that his “source” of prophetic vision was not God, but rather the Angelic/Demonic realm, or what Moses called “familiar spirits”.

You’re not bothering me. Just correcting a prevalent falsehood that has no foundation built on reality. I will agree there are some who can read anything into anything, but who’s fault is that? :-)

Hmmm, whom can we blame? The Catholic Church? the Evangelicals? the GOP? It's GOTTA be someone's fault...cuz it's never mine.

Ah, yes, now I remember:

it's BUSH's fault!!

I appreciate your thoughts about Cayce. I didn't get much religion growing up and had read his material long before reading the Bible. Kinda backwards, but that's often been my way of figuring out life.

Personally, I can't say for sure what Cayce was, but the readings and the man were fascinating to me way back when.

His readings on health were something of a hobby for a while, as well as having been personally helpful, with his material regarding the benefits of an alkaline diet especially so.

I've been meaning to rereading some of those books just to see how they read to me now. With his material and similar, as well as with a lot of people's opinions regarding spirituality, I tend to pick and choose what seems to have value and leave the rest or save it for later.

The Cayce material regarding pole shifts past and future has stuck with me. I believed it when I read it in the early 70s and it scared me pretty good.

Years later, my reading the Bible's written description of what happens when He breaks the sixth seal gave new meaning to that old material and scared me all over again! lol

Since then, reading the TLIG messages has added some new details to one of the still great terrors of my youth and beyond.

And now that the world has turned upside down, with good as bad and bad as good, it almost seems like a hint or sign of things to come: one type of pole shift followed by another type altogether.

Yikes...
