I immediately thought of Firesign Theatre for some reason. If you catch that reference, you are:
A. An old fart like me, who:
B. Wasted a lot of his time when young.

For the record your comment is crass

Not really. It was un-PC and very funny.

As long as the stamps are of age, you can lick them all you want.

I believe Sheryvogel's painting of CUSTER'S DEMAND was criticized because he showed Comanche and Kiowa with Cheyenne head dresses.

But then, the Cheyenne often allied themselves with the southern tribes so some Comanche could have adapted a Cheyenne head dress.

Thanks. As I said, I’m not an expert on these things, and I appreciate any information.

Once, when the western artist Charlie Russell did an oil painting of Indians, he painted a Blackfoot Indian. One of his friends mentioned that the Blackfoot was wearing a vest with Cheyenne designs on it.

Russell’s reply was...”Son of a gun must have a Cheyenne wife!”

That must be it. Actually, I Googled Comanche headdresses a bit ago (which I should have done before first posting, but I was being lazy), and they did wear the full eagle-feather war bonnets. Now I know.

Google photographs of Quanah Parker. He was 6'4” tall and wore a headdress. He was the last Native American to defeat the US Army in battle.
