Do earthquakes explain all those mastodon bones at Snowmass? Not likely, say scientists, although they havenât completely shelved the idea.
And did humans kill a mammoth 50,000 years ago and then cache the meat for later use? Circumstantial evidence of rocks intermixed with bones suggests that was the case. If so, it would rank as one of the major scientific discoveries of the decade, putting people on the North American continent some 36,000 years earlier than what is now generally agreed upon by archaeologists.
That intriguing idea also remains on the shelf, just beyond touch for lack of corroborating evidence.

I watched that show as well.
I’ll have to read this article to see the comments.
1) in height?
2) in volume of stone?
3) in ground area (footprint)?
I'm moderately familiar with central & south American prehistoric structures; they built some amazing things!
So, to what site(s) are you referring?
And, are the "pyramids" of stone -- or, some other material?
Read that some time back do not remember where or even when.
Thanks for reporting hearsay, then... :-(
Not hearsay - go look for yourself - the finds are real.
How socialist of you...
Sorry - no need to get nasty - was just reporting an item for consideration - if you do no wish to consider it, don’t.
Thanks SteveH.

Also, these animals and people came off the ark and their numbers increased exponentially. After the flood for a long period of time due to drastic weather change there was lots of ice left over. This ice melted and broke off burying much in it's wake as it melted and receded. Water also was left in large inland seas and rivers that eventually dried up. Large bodies of water would eventually break through natural dams and pour out into new areas burying people and animals in it's wake. Even for a long time after the flood due to drastic situations left behind from the flood system many fossils were created. Considered one of the oldest books in The Bible, Job references this time period.
It's a phenomenal find but the animal deaths were human caused? That's a little out there.
