Latino culture favors a ‘strong Man’ a Caldillo (sp?), to set things right. They like leadership (remember Juan and Eva Peron?) and machismo. He will get 45% of the Latino population.

Same article shows Trump with 26% approval from blacks. If he gets 26% of the black vote, Hitlery is burnt toast.

There may be some caudillismo in Trump’s appeal, but this isn’t Mexico or any other Latin American country. They don’t love their caudillos, they vote for them, because they are the only thing available. They know the caudillo will do nothing for them and the best they can hope for is that he will leave them alone.

I’m not sure that’s the thing in play here. Just my opinion.

Many have been here for generations and have no intention of becoming a part of Mexico

I truly believe there are far more Latinos that support Trump than the pollsters, media and politicians are willing to admit. The idea that a person agrees with the unrestricted flow of illegal immigrants from south of the border simply because they or their ancestors hail from the same patch of dirt is ludicrous. If so, it would have been impossible for the USA to win WWII. Our armed forces were full of 1st and 2nd generation European immigrants, yet they went, fought and killed their kin. So too are a significant number of US citizens of Latin descent.

What does have to do with anything that I commented on? This judge does support La Raza, so I am not sure what your point is.

Legal Latinos are being hurt by illegals as much as anyone else and they are smart enough to realize it. That is why they are supporting Trump.

Yeah I know that. The Judge is a racist scumbag, but Trump gets accused of racism simply because he questions the Judge’s motives; some not that uncommon for a person to do when they don’t agree with the Judge’s decision. My dad still questions the judge in his 2nd divorce.
