CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - A man was taken into custody after several pounds of LSD were confiscated from a Clarksville home.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s officials said the drugs were found Wednesday while drug task force agents were executing a search warrant at a home on Shady Grove Road.

They said 6.37 pounds of LSD were confiscated, along with components used to make the drug.

Roy Edward Wagner III was taken into custody and charged with schedule I drugs and unlawful drug paraphernalia.

I would have thought more than that. But a quick calculation puts it more like 60,000 hits.

Yeah....something aint right with this story.

The first guy to test out LSD ingested what he figured such a very tiny amount that couldnt possibly cause any harm...and this guy was meticulous. The guy described his furniture coming to life.

I know of several people, friends of friends, who tried acid once and are permanently screwed up. One of them was given it without his knowing he was taking it. I say sentence this guy to one month in San Quentin for each micro gram.

2900 grams x 1,000,000 micrograms/gram = 2,900,000,000 micrograms (mcg)

A "hit" of acid runs anywhere from 50 to 250 mcg (or so I've been told.) Lets make it a good hit or 290 mcg just to make the math easier...

2,900,000,000 mcg / 290 mcg per hit = 10,000,000 hits.

Nobody smart enough to make LSD (and it is not easy to make) would keep that many hits in one pile (too many eggs in one basket if you know what I mean,) so it's probably not pure LSD - might be blotter acid where they are including the weight of the paper in the total weight which would change the calculations by a lot. Still, it's way more than enough for a good party!
