A tiny bunch of left-wing loons with no lives, shrivelled penises, and the collective IQ of a pickled herring is trying to ban a screening of the classic 60s movie Zulu at an armed forces fund-raising event in Kent. Before I go on can I absolutely stress that while it has been widely reported eg here and here this is NOT a news story? The only reason I am writing about it is because its an excuse to say what a marvellous film Zulu is: one of those character-building experiences that every boy should have on his route to manhood.

Zulu is a great movie. The movie is shown from the British point of view but shows the bravery of the Zulu soldiers charging breech loading rifles armed with spears and clubs. The descendant of the Zulu chief in charge of the Zulu army is in the movie.

Put down your spears and back away from the red coats. This should bring a call for background checks on spears, axes, swords and knives.

The Zulu warriors were portrayed as brave, courageous men as were the Welsh soldiers. What is wrong with these people.

Indeed a great movie that every young male should see. This
The descendant of the Zulu chief in charge of the Zulu army is in the movie.
should not be lost in the conversation. The Zulus themselves did not consider their depiction in the movie demeaning. (They may now, of course, after decades of being instructed why they should by the Gramscian destroyers.)

Zulu is one of the most historically accurate films ever made.
It shows, among other things, the devastating power of firing in volley.
It also shows great valor and dignity on both sides of the conflict. Well done film.

I thought it was pretty good. from what I have read it was unusually accurate history.
Mainly a bunch of Welsh Engineers with a few other odds and ends.
