A few years back my mom was on some sort of statin and it induced a terrible fibromyalgia-type syndrome with her. She was having extreme pain and muscle weakness. She ended up getting off those things and had to take steroids for a bit. It took a few months for the pain to go away, but it did, thank goodness.

I have been suffering from bilateral pain in both upper extremities in the joints. Its called Cervical Radiculopathy. Both shoulders and thumbs are like hot coals, and the elbows are like someone shoved an ice pick in each elbow. Someone told me to try the CBD oil and ointment. It didn’t touch the pain. CBD isn't a pharmaceutical drug. It's an herbal supplement, so it takes longer to begin showing its healing effects. You've got to stick with it awhile to feel the benefits.
Beware of mixing alcohol with Tylenol — very bad for the liver.
Naproxen WITHOUT alcohol might work better for his problem than other OTC pain meds.
If all else fails, try the THC-free gummies. It they don’t work, try pot.

I know it’s helped my mom with anger issues. Every last breath was anger till she started on cbd.

Go for fresh blueberries, start at 1 cup a day. You can frap them up in a blender or a handheld juicer. They are great for stopping inflammation. My chiropractor stands by it.
