Now that is an incredible turnaround and an amazing story.
Thank you for sharing that.
I highly doubt you want to post your number on a publicly open forum, esp considering your number’s from a state that only allows oil for epilepsy. Might want to go to PM instead.
My father has had horrible itching on entire body (like under the skin so you can never get it scratched)— I think this is almost driving him insane. Has tried Benedryl you name it.....doctors can’t figure out why...the shingle thing just reminded me of that fact.
I will find this out...all these things you all are pointing out may help. Thanks so much!!
thanks for this info...will definitely look at this.
Let me clarify, CBD oil is much safer than opiates. The opiates are probably more effective though.
I’m sorry for your dad’s condition but I appreciate this post. .... really quick before grandbaby wakes up ... my daughter suffers debilitating migraines. CBD is something we’re looking at. Some good help in this thread and unfortunately too many jerks and nosybodies. Shame on them.
If he was on Prednisone for years and then went off, his adrenal glands probably no longer work properly. Google adrenal insufficiency. The leg, back and joint pain from lack of cortisol is horrible.
He should be tested for Addison’s.
You’re welcome, Conservative Mind.
I just wish I could get those lost years back and the thousands I spent chasing a cure. No one should live like that; chronic pain, blinding migraines, constant fatigue, digestive issues...it was brutal.
Another product that helps with fibromyalgia is Isagenix. Sure its a weight loss product and an mlm but the protein shakes and cleanse will help. I just buy some occasionally on eBay or classifieds sites to avoid the mlm part.
Lyria treats nerve pain symptoms, which fibromyalgia is. According to my doctor (who wanted me to be on it) that is also a pain management specialist / neurologist, no one really understands why/how Lyrica works, only that it blocks specific types of pain affecting the pain receptors in the brain.
I tried Lyrica for two weeks some years ago now after my fourth lower back surgery. It gave me nightmares, disrupted my sleep and more. I stopped taking it and went through some withdrawls from it and vowed NEVER to take it again.
Taking CBD oil doesn't have any of those side effects, in fact I have had ZERO side effects from CBD oil. It's natural, legal, sold on Amazon and does not contain any THC which is the chemical that gets one "high."
Personally I've found CBD oil to be very helpful with my nerve pain and neuropathy in my feet after all my back surgeries and nerve damage. I also suffer from Ankylosing Spondylitis which is an inflammatory disease that affects the spine and have found it VERY helpful for that also. I've been able to cut my other anti-inflammatory medications by half due to the results I've experienced with CBD oil.
As with anything, YMMV and CBD oil isn't a miracle cure-all for everyone however it's worth a try as it won't hurt or have any lasting effects.
CBD is effective. It is not the part of pot that gets you stoned, but a good and effective agent. I don’t understand the weed hate. Heroin comes from poppies, so does morphine, and other drugs, but we don’t condemn poppies. There are good uses for the cannibis plant, but there is also the potential for abuse. Morality should not be a consideration for trying CBD anymore that it would be a consideration for taking morphine. Both are plant derivatives, given to us by our Creator for our benefit.
I live in PA and have a medical marijuana card. I take drops of oil that are mostly CBD and a little THC. For reducing inflammation the two together work better than either alone.
For me its arthritis. I do not like the high from THC. I take 4 or 5 drops at night and feel no high but do get pain relief and, just as importantly, sleep much better. Go to www.pa.gov for all of the information you need on how to get a card. The CBD is actually cheaper than the stuff you can buy anywhere and the quality is consistent.
The first thing he should do is quit smoking, drinking, fried foods, bread/rice/pasta, sodas, juices, snacks and sugar, then go to a nutritionist to get a full diagnosis of any vitamin or mineral deficiences. Then get a recommendation of diet, vitamin/mineral supplements and mild exercise like a daily walk.
It would take discipline, but he can heal himself through a diet of vegetables, lean meat or eggs, fish, nuts, fruit, and olive oil, with full vitamin/mineral support, particularly minerals like magnesium.
PMR is usually given steroids to control it. I have known a few people who were diagnosed with PMR and one was given steroids and did fine because no other issues. the other had another issues effecting their liver and could not be given steroids. They resorted to medicinal doses of curcumin and other anti inflammatory and pain relieving herbals and supplements and were able to be pain free and able to move well. Doctors did not help , it was a herbalist who helped them.
Yes, that’s the best approach, focusing more on the root underlying problem in any disease. That can only enhance any pain relievers and or reduce there need.

Hello! Would you FReepmail or reply what product you buy from Amazon? Are you in a legal state? I’m glad you’ve been able to find and get relief. Pain is ..... I don’t understand why God allows so much of it. ..... Thanks so much.
You are very welcome. Keep us posted.
