I don’t think the population as a whole has lost the concept of moral turpitude but what shocks the public conscience has changed.
Where homosexuality once was abhorrent to the general populace now showing disgust at public displays of homosexuality shocks the general public.
Traditional moral values are a thing of the past. The virtues that made Western Civilization the most prosperous and wealthiest civilization in history have been subjugated to Social Justice philosophy.

It is not about discrimination. In fact as far as I know in none of the high profile cases were any gays refused service as in a simple business transaction. It is about the free practice of religion without government interference. There is no compelling state reason to extend the civil rights act. This proposed bill is anti-religious bigotry writ large.
This comes from the cabal that continues efforts to suppress Chik-fil-A, if not put them out of business entirely, for the crime of merely stating their beliefs. And I don’t recall the restaurant ever refusing service to one of these freaks.
