I came back from a flight last night around midnight at Terminal A gate 15 and was surprised by all the homeless sleeping in the area around baggage claim and in the hallways.
I guess they take the DART train to the A terminal and sleep the night, and are rounded out in the morning.
This situation makes Dallas county and the DFW airport look bad at their ineptness to deal with homelessness. I heard about this situation about 2 weeks ago and called Fox affiliate KDFW channel 4 and they brushed it off. I should have taken video but I respected the privacy of the people sleeping in the hallway.
I’m in and out of DFW on a regular basis. Never noticed this, but I never check bags and am usually in the American terminals. Thanks for the heads up.
Ah, I was going to ask if Dallas was controlled by mature folks or Demorats.
Further proof that Demorat cities and lack of civilized standards go hand in hand. (And don’t ask where Demorat hands have been.)

It was late at night and in Terminal A, which is isolated from the other terminals, but is connected by public transportation(DART).
It was not a pretty site for people waiting for their luggage.
That can be a dangerous situation. If you’re flying you are NOT carrying, but no one checks the bums for weapons. Kind of like Bloomberg’s vision of America - the law abiding disarmed and the criminal element free to do as they choose.
Pfft. We have the exact situation in L.A. The homeless losers take the bus AND train anywhere, which explains the homeless CITIES at the beach. Just this morning, LAPD and DPWH like clockwork clear the homeless around Hollywood and I’ll bet $1000 they will be back tonite at the very same spot.
The only good part is that there is NO direct train going to LAX. Just shuttles. People here normally take Uber/Lyft to get there or that Flyaway shuttle.
They caught a bum with a hatchet in his backpack stealing luggage in Atlanta.
Maybe they will get bailed out by taxpayers.. worked for CA.

We just flew in and out of DFW Saturday-Yesterday.
Did college visits to Baylor and TCU.
I didn’t see any of that in either visit to the airport.
Son accepted to both. Enjoyed the visits to both universities.
