Angry Ghost Of Chris Farley Appears To Haunt Current Saturday Night Live Cast

NEW YORK, NYโ€”Upon hearing the current Saturday Night Live cast was upset by the guest-hosting appearance of a man they disagreed with, the ghost of Chris Farley was reportedly stirred up and appeared to haunt the cast and lecture them on being funny. Farley has considered haunting the cast many times since his untimely death in 1997, but this was reportedly the "last straw" for the late, great comic.

"Alright people, LISTEN UP!" Farley began while in character as fan-favorite motivational speaker Matt Foley. "I know you all are TRIGGERED and UPSET because some RICH WHITE MAN came on your show, and I understand that. Old Matt gets it. Old Matt's your buddy, your pal, see? But I am here to tell you today that no one cares DIDDLY SQUAT about your FEELINGS!"

"But Chris, he's an evil capitalist," said Kate McKinnon. "We wish he would just go away."

"Do you know what I wish, little lady?" Farley said. "I wish you would SHUT YOUR GOSH DARN YAPPER! Because if you people can't get it together and start writing some funny skits, you're not going to amount to JACK! SQUAT! AHHHHHHHH!!!"

Farley then jumped off the stage and shattered a table in one of his iconic physical comedy gags, causing an eerie, haunting sound that hadn't been heard on the SNL set for decades: laughter.

Too funny, yesterday we visited a park by the river for a picnic on Mother’s Day and there was a beat up 1970s van in the parking lot. I told my son that was where Matt Foley lived.

It has been a long time since SNL has elicited any laughter.

The original SNL was must-see TV for me. But, SNL hasn’t been funny in decades and I haven’t watched in decades.

It was pretty funny in the late '90s. They had Norm MacDonald who did the Weekend Update. Also, they did an animation "Ambiguously Gay Duo". No way they would show that sketch nowadays because that would offend the gays.

The good news is that the exorcism of the spirit of humor was a success!

Democrats are a humorless bunch. Comics fail when performing before them.

My wife ‘watches’ SNL.

It puts her to sleep pretty quickly. It’s even better than Ambien.

I haven’t watched it for more than 20 years.

Without Trump, the whole late night crew is toast.
They all spent four years living off Trump jokes.
Who wants to watch them desperately trying to ignore Biden and Kamalamadingdong?

“Evergreen admissions is not selective with an acceptance rate of 98%. Students that get into Evergreen have an average SAT score between 960-1210 or an average ACT score of 19-25.” In other words, it is a dump.

Jay Leno was the last good mainstream late night host. He wasn't afraid to make fun of Bill Clinton. But that was over 20 years ago. Times change.

SNL stopped being funny when Phil Hartman exited stage left. Before then, they had some rough seasons (1980-1981, 1985-1986), but once Phil went, the laughs declined. Only person I like in the current cast is Melissa Villasenor and she is underutilized.

“You remember when SNL was funny?”
“Yes.”
“That was awesome.”
