Re #6. It’s time to open fire. If the cops get in the way, tuff nuggies. Except if one of the fleeing animals takes a round in the back, a round the shooter had justifiably fired in self-defense at an attacker, guess who is looking at a murder charge?
There are those who argue that a jungle culture was introduced in early America; the challenge today is what to do about it in a civilized and effective manner. Perhaps more statutes of Clarence Thomas as a role model rather than naming streets after MLK?

Another one for the Black History books.
This should get black wall space at the Black Smithsonian on Black Street in Blacksville.

Simply why anti-white racism needs to stop. It can only lead to violence.

I avoid these problems by staying away from cities.

Why anybody would attend a university right in the middle of one of the biggest open air drug markets in the world is beyond me.It's actually about 3 miles from K&A.

Heck, even stupid birds know enough not to look a violent predator in the eyes. So, when eye contact "baits" a violent predator into attacking, be ready to kill it.

Perhaps more statutes of Clarence Thomas as a role model rather than naming streets after MLK? Like his personal behavior or not, MLK preached non violence and suggested to blacks that they consider their content of character. He was more the solution than the problem, so he had to be killed.

From what I understand, even Center City Philadelphia is not the safest place to roam around in anymore, especially at night. I don't know if in your Temple days you ever got up to the Kensington Avenue area, right near the Frankford El, which has been mentioned a few times already on this thread, but at one time that was a much safer and cleaner neighborhood too, filled with working people and their families, and small businesses. But that has degenerated into a filthy, disgusting, open drug-selling and prostitution neighborhood, filled with people living out on the street, and they call it a "bust-free-zone", as the Philadelphia police don't bother them there.
I posted this youtube link on another thread recently, but if you haven't seen it, and you're interested, there are a lot of youtube video links at this youtube search link that show what a mess that area has become. If you haven't seen that area of Philly (and if you have the stomach for it), you might want to take a look at a couple of those videos, but I'll warn you first that they are heart-wrenching, sickening, and depressing. Here's that youtube search link:
"Kensington Ave Philadelphia"

There are 2 cops wearing safety yellow/green outfits just out of the picture until close to the end of the video. They both stand there doing nothing.

Here, it says they are security, not police, and they only observe and report:

Yes. Be prepared to. Cripes, what a lunatic asylum.
Another poster mentioned the cops on bikes-I suppose they could have been campus rent-a-cops, but even still.

My first thought was that it was a gang-initiated fun activity. Polar Bear Hunting, but...I cannot tell if the victim was black, white, or hispanic.
Could have just been wilding for the fun of wilding.
I got attacked by four guys one night, and it wasn’t any fun.

Spot on. I didn’t think it was that kind of thing, though, because those people all rushed in from every point of the compass.
It could be an altercation started, and bystanders simply wanted to get in on the fun, though it looked organized to me.

We were going to visit Gettysburg this year and thought maybe we would fly out of Philadelphia since it’s so close. Maybe see USS Olympia and Independence Hall.
Is that area just as dangerous as the rest of Philly? Any locals have an opinion? Temple doesn’t look that far away from Independence hall.

Those videos are just heartbreaking. It was *nothing* like that when I was there. I didn’t hang around Kensington back then, only passed by it a few times. It was a little sketchy, but nothing like what it is now. It was still a relatively productive area with open stores and delis, etc. Of course, this was in the Frank Rizzo and Willie Green days and fentanyl wasn’t a thing yet. Heck, even crack hadn’t become desirable yet. I think that might have just started to rear its ugly head when I left.
I’ve heard Center City is not safe at all anymore and that it’s also wise to keep heightened awareness on the Temple campus even in broad daylight.
The Philly where I came of legal age and of which I have fond memories no longer exists. I haven’t been back in years. I wonder if McGillan’s is still a good place? That was a stone’s throw from where I lived and my friends and I spent many an evening there. I was even in a band that played there once in a while.

When you visit any major American city you need to follow third world city rules.
That means you must assume the natives are hostile—and maintain a high state of alert.
If you are not comfortable with that—then don’t visit.
