I am in total agreement with this statement. There is no way that something sleazy and despicable, that has even tenuous ties to the DNC is a coincidence. Those people never cease to amaze me. And Edwards? Excuse me?? John Edwards as VP?? Thats even worse than the thought of Kerry being POTUS!! Edwards is a no-talent idiot picked for his freakin hair for Gods sake!! Call for a full accounting... It is a serious crime to use forged government documents in an attempt to swing an election. Somebody needs to go to jail... Let the indictments begin and we will see who will go on the record in defense of the Kerry campaign... You see when faced with possible perjury and jail time... even die hard partisans will become rational people and may just tell the truth...

However, the Kerry Campaign insists it knew nothing about the CBS documents, claiming the timing was a coincidence. Yeah, and it was just a coincidence that Lou Gehrig's disease was named for the great ballplayer. It had absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he died of it.

I am willing to believe anything at least once..it was just a coincidence..that and lockhart and burkett talked on the phone before it broke..I am sure they discussed differences between the movie and book versions of "The Lord of The Rings" trilogy..we should give them the benefit of the doubt..I must go now..tereza is coming to town to berate us..wish us luck..

If I remember correctly, Terry McAwful specifically mentioned the supposed "sugarcoating" of Bush's record right BEFORE 60 minutes ran the story.
I would bet that there waw careful coordination. In fact, if the document had been forged as carefully as the timing was arranged, they would have gotten away with it.

so less than 24 hours...and I can guarantee you it takes far longer to produce an ad and distribute it. Just this week, I heard a Bush campaign consultant explain how technology has changed in recent years.
The media guys have loads of digital video in inventory. They can create an ad, buy the airtime, send the ad to the TV station electronically and confirm the airtime all within 24 hrs.
