Well, as a doctor let me advise you that if you have been partying and drinking late at night, instead of a good bottle of Ipecac to make you vomit your sins away, just pick up an editorial by Thomas Oliphant and you will be admitted to the hospital from dehydration due to constant vomiting syndrome (Oliphant Syndrome). These libs just make me so sick!

"In just a few minutes of oratory while the rain plastered down his hair, the former president managed to say more of consequence than any other political figure has blabbered since the latest ugly election season mercifully ended."

Damn, this guy sounds like he wishes he had been Monica Lewinsky.

the former president managed to say more of consequence

Too bad Oliphant didn't list a few specific examples. Could it be that there weren't any? I don't recall anything X42 said of consequence in 8 years.

"The Natural" is the wrong movie for Clinton. Try "The Grifters" or "The Flim-Flam Man" and you're getting warmer.

"the former president managed to say more of consequence than any other political figure has blabbered since the latest ugly election season mercifully ended".

I think this sentence perfectly captures a liberal's sense of what is important. Bubba gives a good speech. That's it. There's no more to it than that. It's not what he accomplished. It's what he says. The saying of it, whatever "it" is, is what's important. Good intentions count for more than results. Good speeches count for more than actions.

That's what liberal's need. Soothing words, not harsh reality. If you think about it, that's what you give to a three year old. Soothing words and protection from the real world. A perfect description of a liberal if there ever was one!

Once there was an Oliphant
Who proved himself a sycophant...

I had to memorize a poem by Laura Richards when I was in 3rd grade, it just seemed appropriate to twist it for this blather.

he pressed his now-lean face up against her bosom, drinking in the fragrance of the soft pillows of angel love. it was so Natural, now, to be with her again, even though her soft front pillows were large enough to resemble her rear pillows but, ah! such was the sweet nectar of life!

it had been so long since he had been with her; she moved with a lithe sort of jelly grace that had been hard-won from her years of scrutiny and consequently, her absence from the gym. for her, he realized however, the passion for him, the commander in chief, came Naturally...as Natural as the lush plump lips that had so Pleasured him so many years hence...

I cannot help but wonder if Oliphant and Emperor Billigula have someone managed to exchange bodily fluids? Certainly, 'tis a consummation greatly to be desired by the abysmal Oliphant, who hath offered his hindquarters eagerly to the Herpetic Horndog from Hope.

Sorry for the nauseous images that must have produced. :(

Clinton did a masterful job putting the art of governance into a broader perspective last week at the dedication of his remarkable library in Little Rock.

The funny thing about Clinton is that he says things so well but says nothing worth remembering. To quote from Brideshead Revisited, his words are like beautiful soap bubbles that float into the air and then "pop". Really is there anything that Clinton says that you remember five minutes after he speaks? - other than the usual pathetic attempts at evading the truth:

etc. etc.

Just as I suspected, that lump in Clinton's throat was Oliphant's nose.

"Oliphant." Isn't that Swahili for "Steaming pile of Elephant dung”?

In 8 years, Clinton accomplished nothing except to produce a presidential administration that finally managed to produce something less than the nearly unnoticeable Kennedy administration. Neither lecherous incompetent accomplished anything of value.
