With Sr. Lucia dying last week... there are no coincidences.
Mary, be at his side...

I just don't get what all the hubub is about. It's not like he is 45 years old. He is 84 years old, old for a male. He has lived a good and full life. Everyone has to die sometime ad this is getting close to his time, if not his actual time. We do not live forever on this earth.
I would pray he is right with the Lord before he dies. I wonder what God Almighty thinks of Popes anyway.

I love this Pope, too! I've been praying ever since I heard the news this morning; I will continue to pray for our Holy Father...

Yes, isn't that a telling picture? I was in the crowds that lined the streets in Baltimore MD when he came there. You could - absolutely - feel the aura of spirituality around him.
The world needs him so much now, but he has also given us so much. We should be grateful and pray that Gods's will is done. That is hard to do!

Awww I like this picture too. The cutest thing I ever saw was when he was on some balcony and I think some little kids were there....anyway all these birds just kept flying up there and all around him and he made the sign of the cross with his hands (blessing them?)! LOL I just loved that! :o) Too cute. An attitude of, "well they won't leave me alone, so I might as well bless the buggers". :o)
I'll be praying for him too!

I'll take a slow Fox News over a fast CNN any time---
Every time I turn on CNN for anything, I end up angry--
One think about Fox, they will STAY with the news. If you have ever watched on the weekends, Fox is the only station of the three that stay with live news all day on both Saturday and Sunday!!

Fatima, you have heard this, I'm sure. Prayers for the Pope;'s recovery. Please add me to your FReepmail list. I know you have passed along some very important observations. The Pope's more serious illness coming right after Sr. Lucia's death seems ominous.

Catholics may want to be prepared for a "smoke watch"...I think you're right. Though I hadn't heard any news about the pope until this minute, I'd been feeling all morning as though the door to heaven had opened, a feeling I get before people I know or live close to die. No, not spooky, it's really a lovely experience.
