Are you serious? Before we could battle the Soviets in the Cold War, it was imperative to stop Hitler. Good grief.

You poor baby...no Soviet Union, no atheist Vatican to look to for strength anymore. LOL, I have zero respect for atheists.

So much for the Big Tent, huh?

Thankfully, the movement survives in spite of bigots like yourself.

To all of you who would sit this one out, vote third party, or shudder, vote for a democrat, may I remind you that the White House is who controls foreign policy, national security, and cabinet positions, as well as nominating Supreme Court Justices? Are you willing to see someone like Wesley Clark or Congressman Murtha in charge of our troops? Do you want Joe Biden running the State Department? Do you want Bill Clinton on the Supreme Court? How about Hillary in charge of our dealings with North Korea?(It worked SO well the first time they dealt with them, didn't it

Why then don't you tell this to those doofus republicans that allow this pathetic liberalism to continue to flourish because they sit on their a$$es & allow this inept commie agenda to flourish. They are the problem, They are co-conspiritors in this destruction of America. They are owned by the elites. They set up the rules to where a 3rd party can't gain traction. They lip service all of you & give you the same crapola. Again I say for 6 yrs plus, GW will NEVER get a true conservative Supreme Court because his puppetiers won't allow such. Now put this in your saved items as many I have replied to here & I guarantee it won't happen. Does Harriet Meirs strike a note. You are being played for the fools you are to continue to vote these doofuses back in & you continue to get this type of government. Guarantee we will have an amesty program --thanks to your good ole republicans which 80% of US don't want. So go for it next election. Enjoy your freedoms being dumped by the fools you voted for. At least don't give this cartel the satisfation that they fooled you because you voted for them.

Amnesty in 2006 = Hillary as President in 2008.

Mark my words. Millions of conservatives will be sitting on their hands and staying home if our Republican Congress and Bush push through amnesty.

Not to mention the scores of newly-legalized "voters" (most of whom I guarantee won't be voting Republican.) I saw the pictures of those protesters in Phoenix and Los Angeles... those aren't future Republican voters, for sure.

"Some choice, huh!"
All her known life hillary has been behaving indistinguishably from [and thus has been herself] a commie nomenklaturist. Thus the choice indeed is rather stark, not "some choice, huh"

That Falwell has any power among Conservative Christians is very sad.

He's well meaning, but his political skills are nonexistent.

I predict he'll do something stupid (as usual) like backing McCain or supporting Gullani.

get aboard this train.

Do you mean the Mclame train?

If so, I'll take the bus. McLame stabbed Prez GWB (and the GOP) in the back too many times in the past five years for me to ever trust him.

I truly see McLame as a Capt. Queeg type who would go boizy-quackers ballistic if, as President, the public or Congress failed to recognize his superior genius.

Just take a gander at McLame's gung-ho support of illegal immigration amnesty proposal.

Look at McLame's multiple hookups with Hillary on various legislation.

The sad part about it is that I truly believe McLame was (is) doing these back stabbing things just to make President Bush look bad, not because he has any allegiance to principals one way or the other.

Take a look at McLame's eyes when he doesn't get his way. They go all gooogly with rage. It's almost scary.

No, I'll make it clear again. Get aboard the anti-Hillary train. The danger she poses if she wins the presidency is horrific.

"Better to lose big and give everyone a dose of reality."

The ones who get your "dose of reality" are the American people when they wake up election morning and find that Al Quaida, Iran, all the Euro-crap Socialist are rejoicing with Hillary and her HINO.

I will vote against Hillary. Period. Any Republican will get my vote.

In time of war and a National Security ongoing threat it is far too dangerous to allow the country to fall into the hands of the Arkansas Grifters or anyone else who can be bought by the highest bidder.

Eliminate her candidacy in the primaries (or expose her before it gets that far). It dangerous that Komrade Kerry got as far as he did, considering the acts of treason he committed in lying before Congress during the Vietnam War, the organization that he was a part of that targeted Congressmen for assassination, etc.

Yes. With Hillary, it's not just that her "positions" are disagreeable, it's that she's utterly corrupt. so her "positions" don't matter. I don't think she has even a prayer of winning the democrat nomination. I really think she will scare many independents and even Republicans into crossing lines and voting in the democrat primaries in states that allow it.

"Better to lose big and give everyone a dose of reality."

More like, "...better to lose big than to deceive oneself into thinking you've gotten something you didn't get, should have known you weren't getting, and even voted for him again thinking he was going to give you what you didn't get the first four years."

Would that everyone would just stay awake this time around when pulling the lever...

Well, I don't agree with his "anyone but.." position, yet I still defend his right to make the statement anywhere he pleases.

That surprises me that you would say that only because do we want dems to have free reign to say whatever they want anywhere they want. Right now, it is close, but at least we stop it somewhat.

The thing that worries me is that if the Beast is running, she and her minions are most likely working very hard behind the scenes to "manufacture" votes.

There are 2 years until then. Plenty of time to change registration if someone wants to vote in the Democrats' primary.

I don't know if that will be necessary. Enough people in her own party can be freaked by her.

I think that we will need enough Republicans voting in the GOP primaries to keep Democrats from making McCain our candidate. They tried it in 2000.

An example of such a voter was the corporate millionaire (some software company) who claimed to be a "Registered Republican" (which can be from voting in the primary) and who said no candidate had ever matched his politics more than Al Gore and who even gave money to Al Gore's Florida legal effort. Headlines boasted of the "Republican" who supported Gore's shake-out-the-vote effort. He even briefly joined up at FR and defended his Goremania.

I don't want Hillary. And I don't want McCain. If that racist Al Sharpton ran again, I could see giving HIM the nomination just to get the media to stop holding their tongues and reveal him for the racist he is. Other than any spectacle factor though, I would want to help the GOP get a GOOD conservative candidate.

Why ever would we not want them to? What about the First Amendment? The most important speech to protect in this form of government is political speech.

That said, lies should be exposed (more speech) and slander should be prosecuted. And Big Media should be widely criticized for being so dishonest and partisan (praise Democrats, attack Republicans). If they want to be partisan they should have to follow the ridiculous rules all the other political organizations have to follow. Maybe then they would finally understand why campaign finance laws should be repealed. They are the champions of the "speech for me but not for thee" ethic.

Our system of government only works if everyone has the same political speech rights. Special rights for newspaper owners is not how it's supposed to work.

I refuse to believe that our choice is going to be McCain. He's the choice of the MSM because they know he's a sure loser to Hillary, but he doesn't have to be the Republicans' choice. The MSM doesn't vote in Republican primaries, the base does. That's us. NO WAY McCain gets the nomination.
