Maybe what really bonds the Croats and Germans together is their similar senses of humor.

The whole "let's kill all the Serbs, Jews and adorable kittens" thingy is just something to help pass the time because, as everybody knows, all the German comedy clubs have been sold out for years.

Perhaps Borat is really Croatian? Looks like he's in Split!

That site is wrong. Alexander Horvat led the HSP (Frankovci) at that time. The confusion is that another Croatian party changed leaders in 1917, and the leader of that party became Dr. Ante Pavelic (Zubar), a dentist with the same name as the Ustasha, but very different politics.

Once again, I've corrected you. Please stop with the lies.

And comparing Starcevic to Goebbels is quite hilarious and dishonest. A typically pathetic Serbian move. It doesn't really matter anyway, now that Serbs don't run Croatia any more.

At least we’re not out and out liars like many of the Serbs here on FR. I know enough about the Serbian Orthodox Church to know that lying is considered a sin. I guess the bulk of the Serb contingent here on FR are secularists.

link :

""Their first step", Pavelic continues, "after the end of the war in 1918 was to immediately contact Dr. Horvat (Aleksandar, the president of Croatian Party of Rights - Z.K.). , these officers met with me."

You're welcome.

full quote:

"Their first step", Pavelic continues, "after the end of the war in 1918 was to immediately contact Dr. Horvat (Aleksandar, the president of Croatian Party of Rights - Z.K.). Owing to the fact that Dr. Horvat had already resigned because of well known events in October 1918, these officers met with me."

So unless Horvat had a time machine and was able to travel into the future to 1918 to see what had happened, he could not have possibly resigned in 1917 because of the events of 1918.

Dr. Ante Pavelic (zubar):

" Život i djelovanje do 1906. (Gross, str. 348-353)"

And there you have it. In 1917, this Ante Pavelic (not the Ustasha), became the leader of the SSP (Starcevic's Party of Rights) an offshot of the CSP (Cista Stranka Prava) led by Josip Frank and then Alexander Horvat. The SSP's politics were pro-Yugoslav, a 180 degree turn from that of Ante Pavelic the Ustasha, and Alexander Horvat and the rest of the Frankovci who themselves split from the original HSP of Ante Starcevic:

(Gross, 414-415)".

And now you know.
