Transfer Mohamed to the pork processing department ASAP.

“Mohammed Rage”? Too perfect!
Gee, workers walking off the production line without permission is not acceptable? Who knew?
I may have to place Swift and their fine processed pork products higher on my shopping list.
To: Uncledave
That Swift plant packs pork which Muslims cannot handle (according to their religion). Does the plant have to make an exception for Muslim workers to place them exclusively on beef production lines? If they are currently working on pork production lines and violating the precepts of their religion, then what difference does it make if they miss a prayer session?

When are they going to say that the plant should not be allowed to process pork products?

The complaint alleges that breaktime rules at the Swift & Co. plant violate civil rights laws by not allowing workers to leave production lines to pray at sundown. I don't think there is anything in the civil rights laws that require a company to provide time for praying. If they must pray at sundown, they need to get a job that ends before sundown. Once again, this is another attempt to use our laws to establish Sharia law in the US. My feeling is that, if they don't like the job and it doesn't fit their religious beliefs, they should find another job...perhaps in Somalia or Saudi Arabia.
I hope the company--and the union--fight this one.

They will do what Dell did in Nashville(Lebanon), surrender and then fire the Americans so that they can hire more Somalis.

Do they process pork at the plant?
PC is going to be the ruination of us all. We actually have ‘diversity’ training where I work..and the praying scenario came up. What rubbish. If I find it offensive to have to put up with someone’s else ‘religous’ preference, aren’t my rights impinged, too?

Exactly, on would have to be a fool to bring them on board in the first place.
To: Uncledave
How many religious workers have successfully challenged corporate human resources departments that require employees to undergo “diversity training” that includes a requirement to accept homosexuality as “moral” and “normal”?
