I call myself a 9/13 Republican. I grew up a liberal New York Jew; you don't get much more liberal than that--although it was lower-case "l," not what's considered Liberal today. I graduated from high school knowing only one thing about politics: that Democrats are good and Republicans are evil.
I tell a story. It's not a true story, but it helps crystallize my thinking that brought me to become a conservative. I say: Imagine being in a restaurant with an old friend, and you're catching up, and suddenly he blurts out, "I hate my wife." You chuckle to yourself because he says it every time you're together, and you know he doesn't hate his wife; they've been together for 35 years. He loves his daughters, and they're just like her. No, he doesn't hate his wife.
So you're having dinner, and you look out the window and spot his wife, and she's being beaten up right outside the restaurant. You grab your friend and say, "Come on, let's help her. Let's help your wife," and he says, "Nah, I'm sure she deserves it." At that moment, it dawns on you: He really does hate his wife.
That's what 9/11 was to me. For years and years I'd hear my friends from the Left say how evil and horrible and racist and imperialistic and oppressive America is, and I'd chuckle to myself and think, "Oh, they always say that; they love America." Then on 9/11, we were beaten up, and when I grabbed them by the collar, and I said, "Come on, let's help her. Let's help America," and they said, "Nah, she deserves it."
At that moment, I realized: They really do hate America.

While compared to what's usually posted here in length, considering the subject the author synopsizes the predicament extremely well. Man does an exemplary job with his research into what makes today's Liberal-Socialist buggers *tick*.
Among many excellent points the author does say, paraphrased, "We must take back our institutions of higher learning etc etc...to which I say, too late for taking anything back, now.
That means just one thing.
Either of you two care to venture a guess what that "thing" will very likely be?

I don't believe that for a minute. That's ranks right up there with the Truthers. That the Dems in power were negligent is for sure, but I don't believe that they were in on the plan.
Yes they do. And there's another factor:
They are statistically very unlikely to be personally effected by terrorism.
It is part of the self centered nature of the Baby Boomers.

Gee, and here I thought immediately that, New York City Jewish liberal and all, the author clearly meant "The Big Apple", i.e. New York City.
Regurgitation is not what comes to mind when I think Apple Computers. But it is, when I think of NYC. I'm from Upstate NY, and they could take NYC and slice it right the hell off and make it another state and I wouldn't mind. My taxes support those city rats.... grrr-rr.

Hollywood opearates these days, on sex, period. Any and all kinds. That’s how these nitwits get their jobs, by and large. Michael Jakcson molesting little boys to these freaks is okay, “as everyone does it.”
Most liberals I know have a real problem with authority.
Unless it is LIBERAL authority. They are Hitler, Stalin wannabees. I once hear that moron Ed Asner, say that Stalin was “misunderstood.” I guess the deaths of 20 million Russians under him was a “misunderstanding,” according to the Left.
LW Dems idolizs Kennedy. Not for his political skills, but his promiscuity. Again, it’s all about sex, to the Left.
However, the one GOOD thing about McCain is that he IS a vicious fighter, and can be just as nasty as the Dems.
I find getting into the Liberals faces, is the way to go. They are so SHOCKED when someone tells them off. Conservatives win that way. The Left counts on us to be “too nice” and not to say anything back to them. When yo do take them up on the idiocy, they back down. Reagan ALWAYS nailed them.
I highly recommend reading this, pandy. It is very long but worth it. It might be worth printing out and letting your kids read it. It could help them sort out "what's wrong" with their liberal friends.

The first attack came close to success. Furthermore, the towers had a lot more people in them in 1993. If One had come down, more people would have been killed than on 9/11.
