Maybe he was speaking of the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

Perhaps you didn’t notice the dozens of Priests, Ministers, Reverends, Pastors, Imams, Rabbis, etc locked arm-in-arm behind him.
Was he supposed to poke them in the eye, or unite in reverence to the spiritual awakening this nation needs today?

The Trinity is one God, three persons.
This opening prayer does sound heretical. Maybe the pastor had a speech impediment, more likely he meant it.
Anyway, the speakers were all pretty clear about God (singular).

No. God is one, yet three, but no where does the Lord refer to Himself as ‘gods’.

So, if I am an atheist, I wasn't welcome to the Restoring Honor Rally?
Do you really believe it was all about you and your God alone?
If you were there did you happen to notice there was an American Indian that gave a speech about his “God's”?
It was about Unity of peoples whether they believed inno God, one God, or twenty.

God states that he is supreme and jealous and that you shall put no other God before him.
I often laugh at people who insist on using the term Gods as they are implying that because others worship differently, they can’t be praying to his God. At the risk of raising angst and fire in my direction, I offer that none of us own God and that how we pray to him is our own business. Further, that it will be God’s decision, not man’s as to what pleases God. I’ll shut up now. Enjoy your whine.

Yes, I do. This country will ONLY return to prosperity when God blesses it. That belssing is not forthcoming whith abortion on demand, with a Muslim in power, with our turning our back on Israel, with a complete loss of cultural morals.
Yes I do believe it is ALL about us returning to a God-Fearing-Nation status.

You said It is yall, Lord Gods...
"y'all" is singular.
The plural of y'all is...wait for it...
...all y'all.

So...because he said Gods with an 's', this entire rally was a complete sham, waste-of-time, completely pointless? The hundreds of thousands of people there to encourage and uplift each other 'regardless' or race, creed, background, or 'personal belief', means nothing now? Is your 'God' so fickle that he's going to withhold blessings and not pour out his love upon all these assembled people because one man, a single individual, used an 's' at the end of God during his prayer?
We've got far more important things to be focused on than some wording and semantics. And if you want to call me a heretic because I ask these questions, go ahead, my 'God' knows me better than you. I'm so sick and tired of these arguments.
