Helen Agbapuruonwu “fraudulently obtained public assistance in excess of $100,000 under false pretenses” police allege, and she has been charged “with felony welfare fraud and document forgery,” according to a police report.
Fidelis Agbapuruonwu, who immigrated to the U.S. from Nigeria in the 1990s, worked as an associate at Mayer Brown in D.C., according to his LinkedIn profile. A spokesman for Mayer Brown told NBC 4 that Agbapuruonwu no longer works there. Agbapuruonwu received a Paul & Daisy Soros Scholarship for New Americans, which he used to pay for law school at Ohio State University.
Court officials believe that Agbapuruonwu may have “fled the country and is somewhere in Africa,” NBC News reports.

When it became racist to pursue fraud due to the ethnicity of certain individuals, a whole fraud industry began to build up. Then, there are the subsidies to pretty up the racial group statistics, which are themselves subject to fraud. THIS. The dirty little secret is that minorities are rubber stamped in for approval. If they means test the program too rigidly, Al Sharpton will be standing in front of the bldg. protesting and they KNOW that.
Now if you are a little old white lady, then you will get means tested out the wazoo as, being privileged, you MUST have a secret bank account somewhere and your eligibility is denied or cut.
I saw this both working for subsidized housing as a clerk AND personally experienced this.

This sort of thing is surprisingly common among peaceful Muslims -very few seem to have jobs but they drive around in luxury cars and are well-dressed and fed. The only reason this case came to light is because the Texas Muslim refugee committed two murders in Texas, one of which he actually got away with.
