The Obama doctrine was that we have to make war more fair to the enemy. We can’t use overwhelming force because that might make them mad.

I do not understand today’s leaders. If you go to war make sure the enemy loses their lives not ours. It should be all out or nothing at all.

I just heard a general, Keane I think, say that now the military doesn’t have to get approval for an action from a 30 yr old in the White House. He said the MOAB was exactly the right bomb to use for this situation and Trump is letting the generals make such decisions.

Excessive American caution has cost American lives and American limbs, and it has left families and friends of the victims with deep psychological wounds. >>>>>>>>>>

Obama was really a traitor. His ROE were horrid. No soldier should be forced to serve under such a wanton traitor.

On top of all that Obama committed war crimes in Libya.

“Rules of engagement” my ass. Obama wasn’t on our side in the war against Wahabi Islam. Isn’t it obvious by now? Why are so many afraid to say it?

....it will be ten times more dividing this time around. The media, the DNC,Hollywood, the
campus’s will all turn against the military.
They’ll stigmatized, marginalized, all they
can.....they have nothing else.
This era will be interesting for sure
Thanks to Odungo, the
....enemy is here already

Not only the US. Everytime Israel is forced to fight the Hamas or Hezbollah they have to take on their kid gloves not to anger the leftists at home or abroad. The “liberal faction” is an enemy that costs many lives.

I don’t think the generals have been making the decisions since Reagan...I think the biggest problem the last 28 years has ben the white house micro managing the military. which is the same problem we had before Reagan.

Thank God Almighty that the adults are back in charge. It is true the ROE’s have been stripped since the time of Reagan. Daddy Bush started it when Powell came whining to him about the media showing what we were doing to eradicate the bassturds fleeing Kuwait on the road to Basra.

Stormin Norman had the entire fleeing Republican Guard double flamked on the road to Nasiriya and about to unleash Hell on them with the 24th Mechanized to the south and the 82nd Airborne Assault to the north all with A-10 support. Bush stopped it all when CNN started to show the Basra footage.

If only for 24 to 48 hours free reign, the second war in Iraq would have never been necessary. Hussein would have lost it all. To make matters worse, Bush gave them their helos back and that is how they squashed the uprisings that kept him in power.

Operation Redwings which took the life of hero Lt !Michael Murphy, went bad because of someone’s asinine ROE decision in the field. Marcus Luttrell was the only survivor in his unit.

Our wars have been run by a bunch of pin head lawyers. President Trump put generals in charge, but not the politician kind, the war fighter kind. And it shows.

May the voters that put that Kenyan son of a bitch in the White House for eight years rot in hell. Every last one of them.

I can’t disagree with you. It was bad enough that they were so reckless the first time. But to have voted for Obama a *second* time—unforgivable.

“I do not understand today’s leaders.”

Fifty years ago it was okay to kill the enemy. But the press was entirely different then. Now, no matter what you do, the press will come up with an angle that is damaging to the decision maker. So, decision makers try to come up with decisions the press will support. As long as you are a Democrat the press will ignore casualties on either side.
