Good way for a teacher to get a pencil through the carotid artery in the neck. People are nutz these days and don’t think twice about smoking anyone in any position of power.
Even though we homeschool, every few grades my wife and I do this to our kids so they can be as socialized as their public school counterparts. Can’t have any “privileged” kids after all...
I have one grandson, who is Cherokee, and a member of the Cherokee Nation Tribe. He looks just like me, and has blonde hair and blue eyes.

Ignore it? Nah. I was 6’ and 110 pounds in high school. Tall and skinny. Did everything I could to put on weight, including eating three dinners a day for a few years. Worked out a bunch, too.
And I was a geek. (Still am actually.)
But I finally got tired of being bullied and kicked one of the bully’s ###.
Funny thing is, after that we became friends, and if any other student tried to bully me, HE kicked their ###.
Turns out he was in an abusive family and was just looking for validation. Needed a friend.
The teacher I mentioned earlier though was just a jerk. He ended up fired. (Messing with my father is a BAD life choice.)
That’s some impressive pacing. My father told me that most trips would average 50 miles per hour, from leaving one motel to stopping at the next, and I’ve found that a great rule of thumb for decades.

And yeah, I do realize I won the “parent lottery.” My Mom is equal to my Dad. Both have always been supportive and protective, but never overbearing.
These teacher pukes would not have lasted 2 minutes if they pulled this stuff on me. Mom would have shredded them unless Dad got there first.
Feel sad for the bullied kid who did not have such support.

It is. Some of my children have my curly hair, but only one (oldest boy) has the color: started blonde, turned brown in 'teens, will go gray early. None has my early-onset nearsightedness, so far. (Three are still under 12.)
Several have "the Wright feet," which feature an extra-large big toe, but fortunately, none has "the Wright ears," which originated with my father's great-grandmother and were passed down to her TEN sons, who (in their picture) are all holding pistols or rifles and look like the Dalton gang on steroids.
My wife’s friend here in El Paso is thoroughly Mexican in her heritage, but somewhere in her family’s past there’s some Irish. She’s totally white with red hair, but she is Mexican. It’s pretty wild.
Guess you were “lucky” and “smart”. I did not put up with it either, I was very vocal. That was tough on my older brother.
That’s not unusual. Mexico is an immense genetic mixture, but somehow, dark-skinned people who seem completely Indio can have a child who looks just like one barely-remembered ancestor ... just like my husband and I got one Indian-looking child.
Prejudiced is when you do not touch a hot stove a second time.
