It can’t let you sleep the extra hour longer that standard time does.

And just how does this issue fit under the 10th Amendment?
I can deal with that better than it getting light at 0330 which is what it would do where I live if we stayed on standard time. I would gladly have it be dark in the mornings in the winter to have daylight in the evening
But either way we need to pick one time and stay with it I work in health care and computers and the time changes wreak havoc in both areas

Just move it ahead a half hour in March and leave it that way.
It's one of the few things that is actually their job.
As it is though, it will just be another PITA like Arizona trying to keep track of if the state is on Eastern Time or not depending on the calendar. It's a hassle calling AZ as they are Mountain or Pacific time but which.

Honestly, this is the best thing Little Marco has ever done for us. Well .. the ONLY thing RINO Rubio has ever done for us. I voted for him once. Never again. But I actually do like this Bill/idea. Not even sure why it needs to be a Bill. How about it just being done. Period. I’m tired of changing all of the damned clocks and my watches twice a year. For absolutely no meaningful reason at all. Even the atomic clocks sometimes take days to update themselves. Sometimes, never at all. I’m pretty sure that most people are not farmers that need another hour of daylight to harvest the crops.
HOW does it help with child obesity? I’m pretty sure the fat little jerks are still gonna lay about, eating HoHo’s and potato chips and playing shooter games whether it’s light outside or not.
