Yep, I could carry four people plus snacks and coolers.

I knew a guy who forgot to take his pistol out of his work van after a weekend of shooting stuff up.
They arrested him, impounded his van and the tools in it.
It cost him thousands of $$ to stay out of jail and get his van back.
Half his tools were missing and the van was on blocks. All four wheels missing.
He refused to work in DC again.
Travel light and be ready to scoot. ;-)

I thought the article presented an interesting view how of the President thinks when presented with a bad deal (Mueller and the Special Counsel).
I was on the fence about Sessions because he did not tell the President he intended to recuse himself. He wanted the AG job so much that he put his personal ambition above the country’s need for an ethical Justice dept.
I cannot support him anymore and if he had any integrity, he would close down the witch hunt, fire Rosenweasel ( great name for him by the way)and then resign himself.
I am thinking Rudy is there now because he might be the only one the President can trust at this point.
Make it September 28, the day of Trump’s possible gov’t shut-down over the budget and the wall. As he said:
“We need security. We need the wall.” “We come up again on September 28, and if we don’t get border security, we’ll have no choice. We’ll close down the country because we need border security.”
While Sessions recused himself from oversight of the investigative process, I don’t see how this excuses him from his responsibility as the chief executive of DOJ of ensuring the integrity, neutrality and objectivity of all activities performed by his department. As the top official, this is one of his most important functions.
Yet he has clearly allowed Muller’s investigative process (staffed entirely by Democrat partisans) to run amok and even stray into highly unethical, if not outright unlawful behavior. Sessions is the captain of the ship and as such he is responsible for his crew’s performance. But his his crew is reckless and undisciplined, and his ship is floundering
The fact that he has shirked his responsibilities is a sign that he is either grossly incompetent, compromised, or has been a Deep State plant all along. A strong case could be made by now that it is primarily the latter.
Sessions must be removed from office.
One more thought, if I may....
Sessions has a rare historic opportunity to restore respect in the DOJ and FBI. He could go down as one of the greatest AG’s ever if he shows leadership and cleans up the mess.
The reputations of these agencies are so low that even a modest effort to restore integrity and public confidence in these corrupt bureaucracies would make him look like a white knight.
The fact that he does nothing speaks volumes about Sessions. Its what he refuses to do that defines him.
Well, Comey needs to be residing at the Greybar Hotel.

Virginia, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania are your key states. Start there. They will be doing the logistics for the encampments.
You need those skilled in military planning. Go to the state boards on FR and ask for them. You want company, battalion, and regiment/brigade planners.
Let them form their staffs from their people. Once that is done, then we proceed. Yes, you can invite other officers from other states to mentor. But keep the principle of unity of command, otherwise it will go south quick. Bottom line: you need a military staff to pull this off.
We will need to meet IRL or contact each other and discuss the others that are brought into it.

I agree. What about surrounding CNN's or NBC's Washington Bureau, possibly for a few days, and preventing people from going in and out with a crowd of thousands?
Shut down the Sunday talk shows.
Go to Atlanta and do the same to the entire CNN building.
Don't forget, we have Trump's organized 11/11 military parade in Washington, which is an implicitly pro-Trump, right wing event. We should all go to that and bring many protest signs.
Perhaps after the parade we could move directly to protest at the DOJ or FBI headquarters in Washinton.

What will happen if you do that is that someone will start shooting and then people will shoot back and the Mall will run with blood. At the end that "person who started shooting" will be dead, and will have a long history as a gun-rights, white nationalist or right-wing activism.
The evidence that he actually kicked off the shooting will be sketchy, at best, but it will be all that they need to go after guns with a vengeance.
Most self defense trainers will tell you that you should not draw your gun in a confrontation unless you are going to use it, and you should not be ready to use it unless you understand the consequences, and it's necessary to protect life and limb.
I think the same rules go for armed marches. There is just too much waiting to go wrong, either unintentionally, or intentionally as a false flag. Either way: We Lose.
If you had 1 million armed men willing to march on Washington, why would you limit yourself to a protest? It's obvious that the Swamp isn't going to drain itself, so you might as well use the power you have assembled at that point to seize power and make the changes directly.

The Heller case involved one armed security guard who wanted to bring his duty arm home to his high crime neighborhood. They fought that to the Supreme Court, and lost, and they started drafting new bureaucratic hurdles to gun ownership. I don't think Heller was able to get his gun for two years after the successful Supreme Court decision.
I am certain that D.C. does not "open carry" laws, so you will be violating local laws.
Yes, BarbM, I guess I am not willing, but I take my “not willing” from my religion, and Gd is even higher to me than the USA. Caring for children and the elderly is according to my religion as if I were praying all day long and in deep devotion to Gd. So if I didn’t have small children or helpless mother, I would fight and die for my country. But I do this current work for Gd. Even in the first revolution the women performed these devoted tasks and their men and boys did the actual fighting.
Perhaps - perhaps not. I personally think that armed patriots would be extraordinarily reserved in such a scenario, and that there wouldn't be any acts of violence.
Every single marcher would be acutely aware of the high stakes involved, and would likely do anything to avoid a sparking a violent confrontation between the rally goers and the authorities. It would be a tense atmosphere for all concerned, but that's sort of the point.
No one is suggesting that we go to DC and harm anyone, but we've got to recognize that our government is long past the point of listening to us. We must show them that we mean business in some way. I can't think of a better way to get their attention than an armed march.
I suggest we show up without mags or ammo - this time - just to make the point..
There is no way, when you’re talking about thousands and thousands of people, for everyone to be able to do same thing at the same time.
We must muster our forces as best we can and march off. Some will have to stay behind.
What I’d like to do know, is spend some time over the weekend to think about this.
I will post again, on a separate thread, the start of our campaign, and ask for volunteers to do all the myriad of things we need to do to make this—or something—happen.
If everyone has Skype, perhaps we could meet on that? Or some other free real time voice communication service.
