“This is truly put up or shut up time for Sessions. “

Yeah, and its high time Trump put up or shut up too! He’s doing a great job in all respects, except one, managing HIS Justice Department. He should have fired that worthless, quisling f*cker a year ago! There is absolutely no excuse for the DOJ not cooperating with the Congress. Their collective behavior should have gotten a bunch of them fired long, long ago. As the CEO of his companies, he would not have allowed what has gone on in his “government company!”

I’ll stand by AG Sessions recusing himself. He would not have been able to accomplish anything if the maniacs had been able to keep him totally wrapped up in this fiasco. AG Sessions is methodical and measured in his position, but without him there’s a risk of a total traitor or no one else getting confirmed.

Sessions fooled everyone. He barely made it through confirmation no Rat voted for him little did they know he would be best friend they ever had. Fire him and appoint an interim and if the Senate refuses to confirm appoint another.

“Can’t DJT just appoint an interim AG? (And DAG?)”

Of course. But don’t give away the game, freepers love to act like Trump can’t replace Sessions any time that he wants to.

Has anyone considered that Obama’s minions had been surveilling Sessions for years? He is one of very few senators who regularly spoke out from the Senate floor about Obama.

You are exactly right. Up to the confirmation stage many—including Trump—believed Sessions would be a staunch conservative at the DoJ, addressing decades of corruption and going hard on Deep State crime.

After Sessions got the job, immediately recused and handed the DOJ over to swamp snake Rosenstein, it was too late. When Trump spoke of the possibility of firing Sessions the Senate reacted with one voice. Democrats and Republicans alike flocked to support Sessions and threaten Trump. It was a massive win for the Deep State.

[We lost a Senate seat over THIS?!?!?]

Yes, apparently.

Jeff Sessions has been AG for 1 year, 3 months, 27 days. Or 481 days.

Trump is putting even more pressure for Sessions to resign in disgrace.

Will Sessions be unselfish enough to do it?

Hopefully a group of Senators will quietly go have “the talk” with him, and that will be it. But I think Trump will have to outright fire the pos.

Last winter, I asked Sen. Grassley personally about AG Sessions.

There was tremendous opposition in the Senate to Sessions’ initial appointment, and Grassley knocked himself out badgering Senate colleagues to approve Sessions.

When the President then began talk of firing Sessions, Grassley felt victimized and that Trump wasn’t being serious in his picks. Other picks besides Sessions had been difficult to get to the Senate floor.

Since the beginning of the year, Grassley has had several disputes with Sessions. I doubt Grassley would defend Sessions at this point, as long as his proposed replacement was of sufficient stature.

Is something else going on? Trump can fire Sessions any time he wants, yet he doesn’t.

“Is something else going on?”

Nope. What you see is what you get. And what we’ve got is a shiftless loser that cost us a senate seat.

‘Will Sessions be unselfish enough to do it?’

No. He loves the title, plus his enamorato (Rosenstein) won’t let him.

‘Hopefully a group of Senators will quietly go have “the talk” with him, and that will be it.’

Won’t happen. The Senate is a big part of the swamp. Now that they’ve seen, with Sessions’ blindside recusal and kowtowing to Rosenstein, that Sessions has their back, they absolutely have his.

One hand washes the other.

Sessions was the first Republican to fully endorse Trump.

You are right, and Sessions doesn’t have to many years left. He should go down fighting the coup d’etat and be remembered for standing up for the Constitution instead of beaten cuckold watching his wife be ravished.

Thanks for your insights. I hope you’re 100% right, and that when the time comes Grassley will switch to Trump’s side. I’m not putting up $/a bet on the proposition but I hope to goodness it’s true.

Sessions should have told Trump that he was going to recuse.

Sessions should have not left us with Rosenstein in charge.

I don't know if Trump is stupid about this or if he's just playing dumb, but if Sessions knew there was no "Russian collusion" then refusing himself from the investigation was EXACTLY the right move to make.

Odd as it may sound, it may have been a guest on MSNBC (of all places) who first raised the key point about Sessions' recusal a few days ago.

The guy pointed out that he thinks Trump is going to be completely vindicated in all this ... and by recusing himself, Sessions effectively shields Trump from any accusations that the whole investigation was just a political whitewash.

Two possibilities:

1. Trump is about to fire Sessions because Sessions messed up Yugely.

2. Trump is Bashing Sessions, then waiting for libtards in the MSM to start defending him then Sessions drops the Hammer on the DNC making the MSM HAVE TO COVER IT.

That is my Analysis of it...
