A White House reporter for CNN was disinvited from a Rose Garden photo opportunity Wednesday after having called out questions to President Trump in an earlier Oval Office meeting about former personal attorney Michael Cohen tape-recording him.

According toCNN, when the Rose Garden photo-op was announced, Kaitlan Collins was told by Bill Shine, the White House deputy chief of staff for communications, and chief spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders that she could not come.

“They said ‘You are disinvited from the press availability in the Rose Garden today,’” Ms. Collins said.

Ms. Collins had earlier served as the White House “pool reporter” for an early afternoon meeting between President Trump and Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission. She asked Mr. Trump some questions about Mr. Cohen and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The press has to stick together. I’m ok with Fox supporting CNN.

Just when OAN and CRTV are making inroads into the broadcasting business. Not wise Fox, not wise at all.

The problem is the press has always done this and Trump has a history of responding to totally unrelated questions at events like this.

Maybe he just got tired of all the bullsh*t.

Depending on the venue, it is their right (this includes both sides).

If they don't want questions, don't invite the press.

They certainly have the right not to answer, but dictating what questions can be asked of our elected leaders is bush league.

She didn’t “ask” the question; she was screaming the questions very loudly and rudely and was told to leave the room. Her questions had no connection to the purpose of the meeting. ...She must have been taught by Acosta.

Doesn’t CNN have a Bench Warmer they can send in her place.

I know the entire Reporting Staff over there is Junior Varsity at best.

Finally.

This is a long time overdue. Even during the Bush administration, this was warranted.

Tabloid writers like CNN are not the press.

I’d ban them too.

Actual "questions" from CNN. Four about Michael Cohen, one about Putin. All five are narrative-building questions and not genuine asks for information.

The press has an obligation to pursue information in the public interest in order to qualify as "the press". Not one of these questions addresses a subject of genuine public interest, they are all for the exclusive purpose of supporting false get-Trump-BAMN narratives.

IMO, combined with the antics of other CNN actors, this more than justifies pulling all press credentials connected to that network. Plenty of genuine journalists would do much better work in the public interest than these Democratic Party activists would.

A lack of professionalism bears consequences.

She might as well have shouted out how it felt the last time he had sex with Melania.

That tape was leaked by the Mueller team, who had seized it
as evidence on the raid of Cohen’s law offices. It can never be used as evidence ( Atty client privilege), so they leaked it to do damage to PDJT.Collins knew all this. Its private info she was using to ask her shouted question. Bazinga...she’s gone ! Excellent!

Journalism has hit a new low.

FoxNews is becoming more and more dead to me.

Who the hell are they kidding?

How do these folks get the stink off before they come to work the next day?

Bret sees himself as the ‘fair and balanced’ guy of the group...................I forget now the difference between Bret and the others..but there is a dividing line according to the type of reporting they’re given to do.

Maybe it's because she's working for CNN now.

And not Fox News. Bet she wishes she hadn't made that move.
