“Jesus had a beard, so no problem.”

So does Santa Claus

Beards look best on older men - many young men don’t pull them off well.

Sean Connery, Jonathan Goldsmith as ‘the most interesting man’, Gregory Peck as an older man; Sam Faddis - these are beard guys.

(And Santa, of course.)

My response was always, have one or don't.

But no stubble look and no soul patches.

Both just make you look like you don't know how to shave.

When Mr Bear grew one it came in sort of moth eaten. I did not say a word and soon he shaved it off.

In my experience (which is by no means extensive), some women like beards, and some women hate them. Some women like bodybuilders. Some women don’t like them. As a guy, trying to figure out what women like is an exercise in futility. It can change so much such that trying to ‘pin it down’ is like trying to nail jello to the wall.

Thus, you should just do what you like and let the chips fall where they may.

Soon CNN will claim taxpayers should pay for beard implants for the gender confused who were born female.

I say they should just get facial hair growing tips from my ex’s mother-in-law. :)

Beards,clams... I think there’s something Freudian about this piece.

I think the author doesn’t care for men altogether.

“Maybe she would prefer the alternative by being someone’s beard.”

Doesn’t like beard/mustache rides?

Real men can and do sometimes grow beards. They have hair on their chest and do not shave it. Real woman appreciate real men. Real women shave their armpits and their legs.

And beards should be trimmed and neat. Before my hair turned gray and white, I had curly hair, my beard was always a challenge--untrimmed, I looked like a caveman.

Yes, CNN should ask about women's grooming habits. But I figure they'd only out homosexuals and radical feminists that intentionally grow their armpit hair, leave their legs untrimmed, and even nurse that scrubbly beard. They probably don't need to go that far, but it sure helps to identify which women to avoid, even run from.

"Not surprising that beards aren’t their thing."

But "man buns" are. Pretty silly.

My wife hates my beard. But I keep it relatively short and well kept. Gave up shaving after having to shave twice a day while i was in the Marine Corps. I’d shave first thing in the morning and have a 5 o’clock shadow around noon.

Operator’s had great beards before Afcrapistan. They just “refined” them there.

I don’t like wearing beards myself (tried it a few times) but I think they look great on guys who can carry them.

Any real masculine guy...looks great.

But I hate seeing the pear-shaped, overweight leftists with beards who are in touch with their feminine side. That I find nauseating.

“Well, if she doesn’t like her man having a beard and he says he’s keeping it - she can always stop shaving her armpits and legs.”

I saw that phenomena in Europe. No thanks...I’m going to the barber shop.

Uh, no. They grew beards so they couldn’t be easily picked out of a crowd and for security back home.

I’m assuming the writer is pro-choice when it comes to a woman choosing the death of her unborn child. But when it comes to men choosing whether they have a beard or not she has no problem with getting into someone else’s business.

I like beards on a lot of men; it depends on the man and how meticulously he’s going to keep it.

I think some men spend WAY TOO MUCH TIME taking care of their beards...

Beards are gross. The hold bad odorsb dead skin, grease and god only knows what else. Thelook nice on some men, and terrible on others. I don't mind a well kept goatee on some men if its kept no more than a half inch in length, but anything more than that is repulsive to me no matter how well kept..supposedly. Some men seem handsome with a beard, but I wouldn't want that thing near MY face or mouth! Who wants to have to go to the dentist for a haircut, anyway? 😅

It would almost be a deal breaker for my wife if I were to grow a beard. Or any facial hair for that matter.

And why would one cover up a face like this?! LOL!

Bad beards have become a thing in Major League Baseball recently.
