Not sure I agree. Would you say the same about Border Patrol? Seems like you could make the same argument. I am not sure we are at a point where militarization of our law enforcement is the best or only answer. That's not to say I have any problem with mobilizing the military to stop an invasion. The Coast Guards role would be virtually the same whether under HS or DoD in this case. But to put them under DoD requires a declaration of war or at least some similar congressionally approved action.

The USA has 21 million naturalized citizens who are voter eligible.

Those naturalized citizens have 10 million more USA born children who are voter eligible.

Democracy is a basic math problem.

The Political Left has more LEGAL voters than Conservatives have.

When the Democrats get their LEGAL voters to the polls, Conservatives cannot win a national election, and we will eventually lose both houses of Congress.
