The whole thing smacks of desperation. Democrats have made it a mantra that criticizing Israel is not anti-Semitic. That gives them cover to bash Israel.
From what I can understand, the congressional muzzie criticized Israel, in the instance at hand. Her previous statements might be construed as anti-Jewish but why are the Dems only reacting now? It’s not like there is evidence of a mass defection of Jews to Trump.

The truth is, Muslims hate Godless Leftists much more than they hate Jews. It’s just to their advantage to keep that a secret, for the time being.
When Islamic terrorists attack Western targets, Leftists tell themselves it’s because of Colonialist exploitation, blah, blah, blah. Meanwhile, the Left falls all over itself to show solidarity with Muslims, but Muslims show no solidarity with LGBT or Western Feminism.
The Stalinists know this and don’t care. They view Muslims as allies of convenience in their war against the West.
But the useful idiot “do gooders” who embrace Leftism because of their hatred of Flyover Country (which is encouraged by the media, academia, and Hollywood), do care about Muslim intolerance. They just choose to avert their eyes from it, because it’s too unpleasant for them to confront.
I’d put Alyssa Milano and Debra Messing in this category. They’ve both spoken out against Linda Sarsour, but they’re not ready to see the whole truth.

Actually Nancy was planning to vote to rap Omar’s knuckles, but AOC and the other young radicals circled the wagons to defend her. Nancy is now caught between the Outraged Jews rock and the ANTIFA hard place.
It’s fun watching the disarray in the Democrat Party. Pelosi doesn’t know which way to turn. She is threatened by a freshman pip, AOC, who is gaining popularity while dinosaur Pelosi trudges on trying to retain control. Then there are the American-hating freshmen Muslim congresswomen who continue to cause problems with their mouths. The good old boys (and girls) Democrats aren’t on the front page like they use to enjoy. The newcombers, radical, unhinged, and unpredictable, are now on the front page. The elder Democrat leaders are desperately afraid of being put out to pasture.

You would hope there was 99% consensus on condemning anti-semitic and anti-american comments but there is not as the numbers are flipped around. The meeting was about how to blame Donald Trump. The 1% want to blame Bush.
