We have lots of White tail deer, turkey, geese, ducks, racoon, skunks, coyote, black bear, occasional moose, occasional bobcat, fisher cat, porcupine, partridge or grouse, hawks, crows, doves, occasional bald eagle and people claim that mountain lions wonder in once in awhile.
Generally no poisonous snakes except the rare timber rattler. The only thing you really have to be cautious of out in the woods are female moose with a calf, mama bear with cubs or Massholes with a gun.
And the rich will build even bigger walls to keep the illegals out of their neighborhoods. Except those they hire to clean their homes.
It was explained to me by an acquaintance of French descent, in the country for a business opportunity in the Midwest and an acute observer.

I did not know how California taxation was screwing with Prop 13 so much. Thanks. Those extra fees, fines and assessments can kill you. Death of a thousand cuts.
