For decades, FR gets a lot of new people each year.

Some are very good and some aren’t!

The complaint is from the union, not the rank and file?

Nuff said.

Our ship is taking on much more water than is being pumped out. So it’s best to get on this right now, and let the lawyers fight it out later.

“In the light of the absolute authority on all immigration matters granted by the Supreme Court specifically to the presidency articulated in the recent decision Hawaii vs Trump, there should be grave concern as to what is going on. Why has our president not stopped catch and release?”

SCROTUS didn’t ‘give’ him sh!t. He’s always had total authority over national security. The fact is the border is wide open and we’re still doing catch and release. More than a quarter of a million per month are streaming in...

Something is horribly wrong.

In my lifetime President Trump is the first president we have had since Eisenhower that has actually done or tried to do what he promised to do in his campaign.

He has done everything he can at the executive level to implement immigration reform and build the wall. Local judges have corrupted his efforts acting way out of their jurisdiction.

His own party has weaseled out on him repeatedly. The congresscritters have just been a sideshow as they have been forever so I never expected much to get done there anyway. Just a lot of blustering.

Trump’s not the problem. It’s the law as written and the courts.

Trump has been trying to get Congress to rewrite the laws. But the Rino’s failed to do it when they had control. And now Rat’s have control.

The Courts and THE LAW require release.
************************************
As I understand it, it would be more precise and accurate to say various CORRUPT Obama Regime CONSENT DECREES “require” release. I also understand that the Trump administration can decide to back out of consent decrees and RE-LITIGATE.

Exactly. The reaction should be like a majority of those on this forum: Sit back and wait for SHTF. Never mind the fact that the fan is completely caked over and pretty much inoperable.

Interesting observation. But when it comes to work issues like this, the union is often the most honest voice in the room. The big shots are looking to move up the ladder. The rank and file are worried about retaliation from the big shots. Only the union has the ability to speak freely.

Now, when it comes to pay issues, it’s just the opposite. The union is often the least honest voice in the room.

It’s mainly CONSENT DECREES that the Obama folks engineered that are MUCH of the problem. Trump should have his new AG have the DOJ begin the process of “backing out” of these corruptly engineered consent decrees.

Tump is only 1 man

Sure but he is the One Man that is President. He can either use the powers granted to him or he can continue to kneel before a single unelected tyrant in a black robe. His choice not ours.

"The Courts and THE LAW require release."

The courts have no say in national security. The law is clear. Not that PDJT needs to rely on a statute to deny entry to any foreign national he deems a threat or not in the best interests of America

8 U.S. Code § 1182, entitled “Inadmissible aliens,” reads:

Suspension of entry or imposition of restrictions by President

Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate. Whenever the Attorney General finds that a commercial airline has failed to comply with regulations of the Attorney General relating to requirements of airlines for the detection of fraudulent documents used by passengers traveling to the United States (including the training of personnel in such detection), the Attorney General may suspend the entry of some or all aliens transported to the United States by such airline

We're being LIED to!!

The Dems are blowing it. Pelosi said "Not $1 for a wall".

The President got $1.4 billion.

I'd also say this is fake news.

he has to follow the law and most reasonable people know that.

He has to obey all lawful rulings but even Soldiers do not have to obey unlawful orders. A single judge just declared that 7 billion people now have constitutional rights. Trump can accept that or exercise his lawful powers to stop it. Of course he may be to busy working out a way to get all the H1Bs in here.

Because it is the law. They have no choice but to do it and Congress won’t change it.

Trump still has to follow the law. The emergency declaration was to build the wall. It had nothing to do with catch and release.

The law requires catch and release. Also, with 1 million illegals entering the US this year, are we going to build accomodations for 1 million prisoners. Never gonna happen.
