Trump has my vote every time he runs. The republicans aren’t going to give me a candidate. Democrats are anti-American.

Given that, Trump could do more. Immigration in this country was practically shut down between the 1920’s to 1965. Trump could threaten to put a stop to ALL immigration until he gets the funding for the wall.

And as for the wall, Franklin Roosevelt’s executive order 9066 set up the Japanese-American internment camps. How did he procure the money to build those camps?

The Troll is strong in this newbie droid....

So is the fear of truth revealed by their presence and position, divide and conquer most specifically on Illegals..

Pretty obvious where they stand, all that is coming has them desperately trying to stop it

So lemme ask you this question. What actions has Trump taken on immigration that Emperor Ninth Circuit has not overruled? Cut off money to sanctuary cities (Emperor 9th said no). End DACA (Emperor 9th said no). Emend catch and release and even continue Obama era policies on the treatment of families (Emperor 9th the Magnificent said no). Enact the “stay in Mexico” asylum policy (Emperor 9th is trending, what is the word I am looking for here, “no.”).

What actions did our lovely Ryan lead House support? What actions does anyone other than Trump support?

But what am I saying, it’s Trump’s fault cause he hasn’t declared an emergency (oh wait). Ok, it’s Trump’s fault because he hasn’t declared martial law or something totally cool like deploying the death rays on his enemies.

Trump has done more and stood up more on Immigration than any President in my lifetime.

The power was granted by the Supreme Court, It is unfettered control of immigration.

Hardly. Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution gives that authority to Congress.

Congress has ceded some operational control to the Executive via legislation which they could theoretically recind at any time.

The President does have the ability to exclude certain people on national security grounds but Congress still owns immigration.

For what it's worth, the illegal immigrants are already barred from entry by law - no need for the President to act. The issue is that there is a law explicitly defining a process for those people to request asylum, and it isn't clear that Trump can override that by EO.

But from all accounts he is not following through on his promises to stop the illegals. That was his #1 campaign issue and he’s blowing it.

The RATS control the House, the Senate has the likes of Rand Paul, Collins, Murkowski, Alexander, all RINOS that vote to derail him, the courts are against him. Trump with everything against him, in my opinion, is doing the best he can. Would these border patrol be better off Pelosi, Sanders, Biden et al, all for open borders, ha ha, get a grip.

The author of this article is a stinking Leftist.

I like to look at the source of pieces like this.

I just did a search on the guy (Stephen Dinan) and looked at some reviews of his last two books. It is revealing...not so much the reviews themselves, but just seach on the organizations that the reviewers are affiliated with...it is a Murderer's Row of far Leftism that is antithetical to any conservative values. One world government, open borders, etc.

Dakota and Chickasaw Nation, United Religions Initiative, Four Worlds International Institute, Center for Human Emergence, Humanity’s Team, Coffee Party USA, Bridge Alliance, Friends Committee on National Legislation, Amnesty International, and the Liberty Coalition.

Here are some reviews about the author's books:

“Sacred America, Sacred World provides an unprecedented vision of global possibilities, based in a frank, but balanced historical background of the greatness, as well as the unhealed wounds, of America. This national and global vision is rooted in the spiritual awareness that we are all members of one human family. This includes a fundamental need to fully understand and address the genocide of Indigenous Peoples, as well as honoring their unique and invaluable contributions to our collective future.” ―Hereditary Chief Phil Lane Jr., member of the Dakota and Chickasaw Nation; global trustee, United Religions Initiative; and chairman of the Four Worlds International Institute

“If, as the Bible says, ‘where there is no vision, the people perish,’ then this book is our survival manual. It provides exactly the vision we, the people, have been searching for.” ―Mark Gerzon, author of Leading Through Conflict and The Reunited States of America

“This is the first great manifesto of the evolutionary, trans-partisan political movement of our time. . . . In this appealingly personal but deeply knowledgeable book, Stephen Dinan shows us a better way. Like some of the great political philosophers of the 19th century, he shines a spotlight on the most promising currents of the day. . . . He shows us how we can better become the richly complex and self-aware beings that we truly are.” ―Mark Satin, author of New Age Politics (1976, rev. 2015) and Radical Middle (2004)

“Bookstores are full of attempts to map the transition from the last century into the new one and away from a world full of silos, hard-edged ideologies, and personal agendas. Dinan’s vision is unique. He is recognized as the prime ‘shift-master’ of our age and generation because he goes where most fear to tread and maps out new and fresh blends of tools and alloys that hold the promise of creating a brighter day for all. Get a copy of Sacred America, Sacred World. No! Buy 10 and delight your friends.” ―Don Edward Beck, PhD, Center for Human Emergence, Denton, Texas

“This is an important book and does a great job at connecting the big issues of our day, making it real and compelling for readers to act in ways that speak to the ‘better angels of our nature.’” ―Diane Randall, executive secretary of Friends Committee on National Legislation

“Stephen Dinan lays out a compelling vision for a nation and world with the political, economic, and social conditions needed to bring lasting peace and prosperity. And he advocates a clear path. Sacred America, Sacred World is a must-read for all those who yearn for a brighter tomorrow.” ―Steve Farrell, worldwide executive director, Humanity’s Team

“Sacred America, Sacred World is a crash course on the intersection of politics, spirituality, and citizens. Like the three-legged stool, all are required for the United States to fulfill our potential. We, as citizens, are at a crossroads. Will we pick up the banner of our responsibility and thrive, or allow the degradation to continue? To choose wisely, start with reading this book.” ―Debilyn Molineaux, president, Coffee Party USA; codirector, Bridge Alliance

“If the Founding Fathers could have written a book about the United States in contemporary times, this would be it.” ―Walter Semkiw, MD, author of Return of the Revolutionaries

“The difference between a cockeyed optimist and a visionary is that one encourages us to sit back while the other inspires us to commit to a vision and take action. In Sacred America, Sacred World, Stephen Dinan offers us a highly compelling blueprint to engage in deep and totally achievable global transformation. This is a visionary work of the highest order.” ―James O’Dea, author of The Conscious Activist, former president of IONS, former director of Amnesty International, D.C.

“Dinan’s book is a shot across the bow of political complacency. He is calling on Americans from across the political spectrum to aspire to something higher than the conventional ideas and institutions that now drive our politics. He points to the reality of order and freedom as energetic forces within individuals and the culture as well as the need to address the country’s psychic shadow. It’s a starting point for very important conversations that must take place if our constitutional republic is to not only survive but thrive.” ―Michael D. Ostrolenk, transpartisan social entrepreneur; cofounder of the Liberty Coalition

Ummmm - I’d say them ICE agents need to take a breath...current law dictates what is being done...they, like you and others who have all these wishes that don’t match up with reality need to put the blame where it belongs,,,on the Congress.

The disgusting fact is that more illegals are swarming in under Trump as ever. We can hate Coulter but she does get this insanity over immigration and the wall right.

Wow. All the concern trolls are concerned that the Washington Times is concerned about concerned ICE agents.

The Supreme Court ruling is a magic wand that President Trump refuses to wield and solve our border crisis in five minutes, which has been going on since Pancho Villa.

Republicans may have to stay home in 2020 due to all the crushing disappointment. Cuddle with an anime unicorn and let the Democrats have a shot.

Do I have it about right?

Notice this article doesn’t bother to either cite a poll or even hazard a guess as to how many have lost confidence in the president?

Guess work and wishful thinking.

“He knows that if he goes the pen and phone route he will get impeached.”

His duty under the Constitution. A chance at impeachment or presiding over the death of America?

Not a hard choice at all
