The Department of Justice (DOJ) on Monday announced that it is siding with a district court ruling that found the Affordable Care Act unconstitutional.
The move is an escalation of the Trump administration's legal battle against the health care law.
The DOJ previously argued in court that the law's pre-existing condition protections should be struck down. Now, the administration argues the entire law should be invalidated......

Please, GOP, listen carefully. If you are doing away with Obamacare, you better push very hard on your insurance buddies to offer very low premium plans to the public. And not just dirt, pathetic plans either.
Obamacare should never have been law (more problems with government getting too big). But since it has been law for several years now, the working poor have been able to get medical insurance for a very low monthly premium. It will be the Democrats DREAM COME TRUE if the working poor can no longer afford medical insurance and are forced to go without coverage again. The Democrats will make this a major issue in 2020, and the working poor will take note.
I can’t believe after the great news for President Trump and the Mueller report that this Obamacare situation has come up today. I wish Obamacare had never been passed into law. But the GOP and President Trump sure better be prepared for the ramifications if Obamacare goes away now.

Yes. ACA was a boondoggle. I can see protecting pre existing conditions by law, but that is it.
But that's the whole ball game. It was that issue that kept the Reps from coming up with a viable replacement bill.
If you could keep pre-existing condition protections without creating all kinds of other issues it would have been done decades ago.
