Don't know about that, but I believe that generally they sell guns and ammo in Walmart. You'd think a capable Walmart employee near that department would have "field tested" some of their product on the shooter.

I’ve mentioned this before but my wife and I were a couple of 19 y/o kids from Ohio who moved to Hollywood.
One Saturday, the clock radio was on & tuned to KHJ when these new, unreleased tracks were being played. Before each song, the DJ would briefly mentioned what the song was about and what was happening in the recording studio at the time.
The album? White Album.
The DJ? George Harrison.
About a week or so later, the album was released and I bought it at a record shop down on Sunset.
