My mother was still using credit cards at 101 until I stopped her (she had started loaning them out to young relatives).

Make sure the App is fixed to your store location. The Associate have their store phone & can check on availability of a part at another store location but you can too once you change (my store). Enjoy

“I paid cash at the automated checkout, and they wanted my telephone number to complete the sale”

for cash, i usually just lie ... and upon the rare occasion someone might challenge me, I demand to know if they’re calling me a liar ...

“Locally, Home Depot inventory control deteriorated. Stuff that I wanted was out of stock.”

low stock and fewer items has been a deliberate policy of HD for a very long time because they think they are “controlling inventory costs”; of course they overlook the little issue of “you can’t sell ‘em if you ain’t gottem”, not to mention customers finally give up shopping there all together and go elsewhere and/or order from amazon or the like ...

That is all true. And unfortunately liberal Manhattanite Democrat Ivanka is about to make it worse, getting Daddy to go along with a “bipartisan” paid family leave bill that will make actually hiring people more expensive and riskier still.

“Home Depot tries to hire knowledgeable people.”

that’s been my experience as well at our local HD ... as far as Lowe’s goes, I never even see any employees to begin with, much less ones running away ...

You fool I didnt say that drug use should happen. I said that state and fed laws need to line up not to be a burden on the employers.

I could care less which direction it travels in.

One of my biggest issues with government is unfunded mandates. It’s easy to buy votes by ordering someone else to pay for something.

You completely fail to comprehend an extremely simple point.

Basic math seems to be an abstract to you.
You are incapable of seeing how basic math intersects with everyday reality.

Drug users have many more accidents.
Insurance companies offer vastly lower rates to customers who make a serious effort to screen them out.
It’s not elites dictating drug screening, nor is it evil Government. Its math connecting with reality.

And contrary to your direct assertion, being able to comprehend why and how this is does not make one a fool.

Quite the opposite.

Yep, and even worse when they are a direct tax or intrusion on employment.

No sh*t sherlock.

I understand the is an insurance liability issue.

It would be a far different issue if the law was resolved one way or another.

Yes - that’s the past now. Except for ObamaCare & “gay marriage”, it is as though they never existed.

Northeast NJ, just west of NYC. These aren’t in bad areas, either.
