You may have something there. He is concerned for his viewership. I would imagine conservatives that view his show can be counted on one hand.
After the ordeal the left has put the nation through the past 3 years, there is NO WAY to walk this back to “we are all buddies again”.
We know what these people are really all about, and what they would do to us if they had a clean shot.
