That,plus there should be civil charges for medical malpractice with strict liability and huge payouts.
AND there should be criminal charges for-- oh, I don't know --- maybe aggravated battery? malicious maiming?
She will never, ever, acquire that coveted Y chromosome.
Finally learning that you can’t run away from what you are. Today’s doctors and psychiatrists don’t seem to know that it’s not healthy, mentally or physically
Yeah, at 23 those surgeries would have thrown her into very early menopause. Not to mention the disfigurement.
How horrible.
And unlike hair or fingernails they won’t grow back. A hell of a shame what some are willing to promote on others.
That would be because it IS NOT healthy anymore. You received horrible advice and you CHOSE to follow that horrible advice. For the rest of your life you will pay for your life-wrecking mistake.
However, by telling your story, you can probably convince some people not to do what you did. Given the extremely high transsexual suicide rate, you might save some lives.
No different than people who have multiple plastic surgeries. They know that they will be happy once they have just one more procedure done.
We need something like that in the USA — under tight security.
Well ultimately many of them do run away from what they are...by committing suicide.
People who have gender dysphoria have a very serious mental illness. This isn’t about choice or lifestyle. This is like people who have an eating disorder where they are skin and bones and dying of malnutrition but look in the mirror and think they are fat. That’s what dysphoria is. These people truly do feel like they were born in the wrong gender.
There is no easy solution. They are going to struggle with this their whole life no matter what they decide to do with themselves physically.
For those who were committed, are no longer committed, and who should now be “committed”.

Classic case of not thinking things through.
Medical misadventure is when an incidental or accidental event occurs. The deliberate removal of perfectly healthy body parts due to body or sexual dysphoria is NOT misadventure, it is MALPRACTICE!
You would think that it would be so much better to teach them to love themselves the way God made them.
