HCQ is effective as a preventative, and to keep an incipient infection from progressing. The VA was giving it to elderly men whose lungs were already destroyed who were dying on vents.

Most common Rheumatoid drug. PLAQUENIL IS BRAND NAME, hydroxychloroquine is the CHINESE GENERIC, HAS LESS ACTIVE MEDICATION IN IT, MORE SIDE EFFECTS.

Not necessarily. It simply means they did not receive that parti ular dtug (s) in the course of their treatment which may have included ventilation. Of note though, most studies I see that call it a dud, make no mention of using zinc which seems a critical component. And I'd like to see more on hydroxy's use as a prophylactic.

If you were in the Military and deployed to just about anywhere since about 1950 you got it... we called it the Red Pill ... it was a Malaria Prophylactic and if I remember correctly we took one a day for 5 weeks prior to being In Country
