Amazing how deeply the deep state bastards are dug in throughout the government. These bastards need to be made an acquaintance to sisal rope.

Since I was begging you could have gone with ROTFLMAO but you can’t always get what you want is what my friend Mick tells me all the time. ;-)

Taking most generics is NOT wise. My Pharmacist and I have been friends a very long time, he repeats exactly what his late father did. Generics are CRAP. Take my Hypothyroid med, the Generic is 30% less hormone than the Name Brand Synthroid. My Endo and the Military base WON’T DISPENSE THE GENERIC because it is to hard to control. Thyroid is a very important gland controlling a lot of stuff in your body, and not all meds play well with it.

ZINC you will have to have to go online, and max take is 30 mg https://www.vitacost.com/vitacost-chelated-zinc-albion-zinc-glycinate-chelate?ta=zinc&t=zinc will have it, I get the Zinc with Copper and take 3 at a time. I’d get several bottles at a time until we know what is going to happen. Zinc is a important trace mineral any way and not always easy to eat enough foods with it in it. I don’t trust any generic except from Israel.

I reversed OP with vitamins/minerals, all but the 3 most damaged spots, back to osteopenia.

Belated thanks Ms. GailA.

We have 3 kids , all grown, but my wife was gestationally diabetic. That sets you up for Type Two diabetes.

She did exercise and diet for years but once your sugars become uncontrolled you have to go with insulin as high sugars over time can result in blindness, amputations, heart troubles, etc.

With a large bookcase full of health books and any number of kindle books she has a combination exercise/diet regimen that has her off insulin for ten years (after ten years on) with sugars under control.

No pasta, no breads, very little dairy, but bacon, burger, spinach, no peanuts but lots of pecans, macadamias, almonds & other nuts, I couldn’t give up all those things.

She’s the expert so I’ll pass this along to her. I’d always assumed that generics were available simply because the patent had expired and were identical in composition and efficacy as the original formulation.

Stupid of me as with so many medicines coming out of China (90%+?) where saving two cents per anything allows them with knowledge to put a formica ingredient into pet food to fool protein tests despite killing pets word-wide.

Untrustworthy replaces inscrutable for the chinese meme.

Anyway, again, thanks.

That is the BIG issue, I have both Gastropresis, which is Slow Digestion I broke out in Hives on the first Pill of REGLAN which is used unwisely to treat a life long VAGUS nerve damage. Your diet becomes easy digest foods, high in carbs, soft meats, NO FIBER. For 5 yrs I managed to keep the A1C1 at a 6, two yrs ago it started climbing. I eat off a saucer or out of a cup, two meals a day. Always hungry.

My eldest is Type 2, ten yrs and says I need Metformin and Glimerpride.. DUH I react to BOTH. I’m also Hypothyroid. Doesn’t help. Neuropathy from Degenerative Spine prevents much walking, ready for a wheelchair.

Endo just ignored the A1C1 hit 7, then 8.1. 3 reactions to the first 3 drugs. Taking Predisone is a nightmare on the sugar 400-500. I do good to keep it under 200-300. Diabetic diet is High Fiber, there is No Middle ground for two opposite GI diseases. I’ve 2 Barrett’s Esophagus a Pre Cancer, Upper Endoscope every 3 yrs and biopsy.

You just named off everything I can’t digest. Nuts? I had to have the last 10 lower teeth removed last year, 3 surgeries, the finished product won’t adhere no matter what adhesives I’ve tried. Very ill made.. dentist isn’t open due to WU-FLU.

Sorry Gal,

You’re sugars are too high. I am not a doctor. I simply was relating what my wife has done to get off insulin and keep her sugars down with an A1c1? just above 6.

She has teeth problems as well and she sheet cooks pecans and make nut butters in the Cuisinart. Spoon fed food. Bacon cooked to a crisp for crushing into salads but the grease ends up in something else.

Sorry I couldn’t help.

If I had a wand I’d wave it in your direction. Your conditions as you noted have opposite approaches for a “fix”.

Good luck but like the US Gubmint food pyramid needing to be turned upside down the diabetic diet is equally wrong. Good luck.

You want a nut butter recipe? One thing I know whatever you do - for diabetes its got to be very low carbs. IMHO.

With a Type 2 son, I’m well aware of what I should eat. And before I took that belly flop fall on concrete, hit head on the freezer mild concussion, I ate that way. After that fall, took the medical idiots 4 yrs to stop saying Idiopathic Colitis. Gastric Delay test took 4 hrs, but was proof I had Gastropresis due to the damage to the VAGUS nerve. Memphis has C grade doctors. I’d already figured it out 3 yrs before a test was run. Nightmare. Super was a bowl of soup. No usual symptoms of BS either, other than slow healing of cuts. The constant puking was hard to get under control.PAIN was worse.
