Keith Ellison and his son are tainted by their affiliation with members of Antifa. He must recuse himself.
Can you imagine Klansman Robert Byrd being permitted to preside over a trial while the KKK are engaging in terrorist attacks on communities across the country after a controversial “rape” charge is made?
If,by chance,the final report shows that he was on one or more intoxicating substances at the time of his arrest (booze,drugs,etc)...and my money's on that being the case...what will be the final charges filed?
Also,the DOJ is involved here.It will be interesting to see what charges,if any,they might file.
Whatever happened to that assault charge? Did he beat it?

If he can have his trial moved to outstate Minnesota I bet the cop would win. My relatives out there are really tired of all this. So are we here in the Metro area but the jury out there would let him go just in retaliation for how poorly the mayors and governor have been.
Wait until he charges the person who videoed it with being an accomplice to murder.

Well like the old saying goes....Ask in one hand, loot and riot in the other.
This thing will take several years. Expect appeals to succeed and a retrial after that.

If we think the rioting is awful now, when the full coroner’s report comes back to reveal that the neck restraint did NOT cause Floyd’s death, the full out black revolt will be an act of war. There is no way that the American Black community will find such a revelation trustworthy - they will scream conspiracy, white bigotry, and death to the oppressive white devil slave-masters.
What fix would that be?
Were charges even brought? Why was he allowed to run for AG with that hanging over his head?

Why not announce the death sentence first. Then, after the execution, evidence can be collected.
This will be a kangaroo court episode of the first order.
The Floyd family has already asked for their own “independent” autopsy.
