One thing’s for sure ; we are not going to let these commie pukes steal this election and then try to turn our own military against us.

AMEN. I know that you are always on the right side- and I thank you for that.

Things just don’t work very well with hostile local leaders.

Case in point, here in Kentucky. Dem state gov brought in the National Guard after the first weekend of protests/riots. They were here for a WEEK, during that time Dem city mayor of Louisville set a curfew that apparently didn't apply to the protesters cause they were still out all hrs of the night. Fri marks 100 days of protests based in downtown Louisville's Jefferson Square park and throughout the city. Sat is the Kentucky Derby that is being ran without fans in attendance and we're expecting multiple protests that day from various groups. Granted, KSP and National Guard are usually in town for the Derby, but they're usually INSIDE Churchill Downs.

Wouldn’t that be something like Zero once described when he stated HE wanted a civilian army? (paraphrasing here)

Antennas of patriots stood at attention upon hearing such a
statement. We DID NOT want that from him and we shouldn’t
want that from this President either.

Yes, but when you assault a “federal” officer you get to go to federal court and the local DA can’t drop the charges. Lots of state crimes can now become federal crimes when the “federal” officer is the recipient of the force/assault, failure to obey, attempting to flee etc.

Agree.;
But that has nothing to do with “deputizing”.

I’ve no idea what this is about LOL!

You don’t need troops, you just need a National Guard contingent or even a state police contingent trained to use the Active Denial System (ADS)......

The left would excoriate him.

They would accuse him of being a dictator and trying to hold on to his office through military might. And it would look that way.

He would be play right into their hands and it would destroy him politically.

Let the dems own the rioting. The mayors of the cities control the police departments and the governors the state police and national guard.

If they refuse to let them do their jobs, then the whole blame for every bit of destruction and loss of life can rightly be laid at their feet.

It not that they can’t stop this, but that they won’t.

The best thing the President has done is to repeatedly offer assistance that he knows full well would be turned down. It gets him off the hook for *not doing anything*, he doesn’t come across as a dictator, it forces the dems to own this, and they are set up to fully take the blame for refusing the help while Burn, Loot, and Murder does its thing.

And if/when he’s accused of not doing anything, he can say *Hey, I tried. Thye said no.*.

States rights, you know.

We can dream.

I suspect that if it were not an election year, then things would be playing out differently..

In Syracuse, when the protests started and the rioters started with the violence and destruction, the mayor was all over it and nipped it in the bud.

Within hours of the first incident, people were arrested and a curfew was set. He wasted no time in dealing with it and that was the last Syracuse saw of the whole thing.

FWIW, the mayor of Syracuse is a political independent and a Christian.

Agree....

.... as much as I appreciate Tucker Carlson.....
....I think he tends to put the onus sometimes on the President and suggests he’s not stepping up and making it go away

Sir, I like the way you think.

I hope the Feds and LEO have been collecting and organizing all the cell calls, texts, electronic communications, and pics sent among the crowds. Also, categorizing and tracking the vehicles that appear during the riots. After IDing the players, track how the money is moving. Then after a pattern emerges, simultaneous 3:00 AM SWAT raids on all the leadership, handlers, and financiers - seize everything (files, phones, computers, etc). Cut the head off the damn snake with one stroke.

I’m just a civvy with no experience in intel or law enforcement. But it sounds like the correct path to me.

Thank you for your information and ideas!!! Gems!

The full article is interesting and provides some good perspective. I appreciate that posting.

However, in 1967 when Detroit was in full riot, there were Army troop sent in. There was one incident where troops in a Tank thought that there was a sniper in an apartment buildings and the troops used .50 call M2 machine gun on the apartment. The police over reacted, but considering everything (firefighters being fired upon when responding to fires, etc.) it was a "feeding frenzy" that national guard and US Army troops got caught up into. It was also a classic case of Democrat vs Republican politics with President Johnson not wanting to send in troops and Republican Gov. Romney not wanting to invoke the Insurrection Act until the violence was widespread.

Also there was a very recent and important Supreme Court decision that said that a Native American enrolled in a tribe could not be arrested on tribal land by local non-tribal police or non-federal police. The Court ruled that he could be arrested by federal agents, but only for federal crimes. There was absolutely no argument about his being guilty of the crime he was arrested for. It was all about who arrested him and if that was constitutional.

One of the downsides is that Congress is going to have to expand a bunch of federal laws for very minor things unless tribes come up with their own comprehensive set of laws governing tribal members on tribal lands. The ruling changed what County Sheriffs, State Patrol, etc. can do.

The whole deputizing as federal agents, the Oregon State Patrol may be an interesting twist that is being tried in Portland. I suspect that we will see lots of litigation in both State and federal courts over that, very soon.

“....Why Trump doesn’t allow for the formation of a multimillion member ,Federally deputized, Civilian Volunteer Militia . Self armed and at the ready.
Can you imagine the lines of volunteers that would sign up ?....”

The line would only be exceeded by ambulance chasing attorneys hungry to file civil and criminal lawsuits against any action taken by the militia members and their leaders.

KURT SCHLICHTER has written a very thorough article. Well worth reading.

He misses the point that there is no victory for the president in solving Blue state insurrection issues. The Dems have hoisted themself on their own petard. And thats strategically right where the President wants them in the pre-election short term.

President Trump is now leading the Biden campaign around by its nose, and soon he will be able to do what he wants with them. They will dance to his tune.

If President Trump discovers that China , Iran or Russia are supplying ordnance to BLM, ANTIFA or other leftist revolutionary groups, the Insurrection Act will be declared in a heartbeat by President Trump. But right now the Democrat Party is squirming like a worm on the Trump hook.

Looks GREAT! Dem tantrums and dem exploding heads appear from sea to sea.
