A lawyer who represented the Trump campaign in a legal challenge to the Pennsylvania election results was forced out of his post last week as a law professor at Chapman University in California for representing President Donald Trump as a client.
But what especially earned the ire of left-wing activists at the famous conservative legal scholar’s school was that John C. Eastman spoke alongside the president at the Jan. 6 “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington. Violence began at the U.S. Capitol during certification of the presidential election results while the rally was still going on at the other end of the Washington Mall. There is no evidence that Eastman, or Trump, did anything unlawful by speaking at the rally.
Nevertheless, Chapman University President Daniele Struppa promptly denounced Eastman for engaging in constitutionally protected free speech. Struppa accused Eastman in a Jan. 8 statement of playing “a role in the tragic events in Washington, D.C., that jeopardized our democracy.”
“Eastman’s actions are in direct opposition to the values and beliefs of our institution. He has now put Chapman in the position of being publicly disparaged for the actions of a single faculty member, and for what many call my failure to punish and fire him.”
Struppa also said, “This week has also demonstrated that this country has a great deal of work to do for social justice and equity,” voicing a standard left-wing talking point.
Lisa Leitz, a professor of “peace studies” at Chapman, was one of 169 faculty members who signed an open letter addressed to the university demanding Eastman be fired. She told a local media outlet that Eastman’s appearance at the rally and his Trump campaign activities have damaged the university.

Anybody interested in the psychology of how a group of Communists or Fascists could ever seize control of the upper levels of government and demonize those in opposition need look no further; simply pull up a seat. I believe there is a good case to TEST this as a First Amendment Violation in the Courts.
Whether the courts will defend Prof. Eastman’s rights to Free Speech will finally tell us the direction this country will go. If Donald Trump does no even have the right to counsel, then we have truly gone the way of China.
We shall see if our courts understand this.
Right now, it is probably impossible for a Trump supporter or someone who works or worked for Trump to get a fair trial anywhere in this country, or find a lawyer to represent them.
That attitude is why they were able to take over, Normals just said, "Screw it!" and abandoned ship.
He needs to relocate OUT of CA. go to Liberty University!! These universities are dying a slow death right now CA. is in complete lockdown who the hell would pay for college on a computer AT HOME!! Kids are not going to do this NO WAY!!!
John Eastman is a tremendous advocate of our Constitution. Although he is leaving Chapman, he will be concentrating on his work at the Claremont Institute, a wonderful pro-constitution group here in California.

One of the highest rights in this country is a lawyer representing a client regardless of how noble or despicable they are.
Attacking the lawyer who is DOING their job is an attack on the very foundations of this republic and must be stopped immediately.
